After yesterdays poor show by Saints fans, I now agree its time to give old firm fans more seats, they could use the main stand at there end, Saints fans are not turning up so the club have got to sell the seats, only ourselfs to blame if this happens next seaon, and im sure it will after what ive been told

said it elsewhere if they let more of them in they will only drive more of us away - lots of people dont go to old firm games even at home and i dont blame them, but i am not in favcour of turning up to a home game against them and its like a bloody away game. im sure the players wouldnt prefer more of them either!

What are the club suppose to do, leave the stadium half empty, we are throwing money away, if the Saints don't want to come then the club have no choice but to sell the seats to old firm fans who do want to come,

The home support yesterday was an embarassment for a team who have just reached a national cup final. The people who chose not to attend yesterday will be the first ones moaning when we are only allocated 10000 tickets for the CIS final.

If the attendance yesterday was accurate then there were roughly around 2600 home fans. As we are looking to balance the books then we can have absolutely no complaints if the OF were to get more tickets, the only problem is how the split would be implemented.

1000 extra seats at £20 for 3 games a season = £60000 which is one players wages!!

I agree Saints fans are not turning out so why not take the money off the Old firm Its more money for us either to keep our head above water or to try to invest money in the team. The amount off empty seats in the main stand and the Reid Keir stand would possibly have brought in another few thousand pounds for the Saints.

I've said before I'd give them behind both goals and half main stand...its crazy not to give them more tickets if they want them...our home support now is falling fast and 3000 is now good for us.

just my opinion gary but as ive said before they have to watch and not annoy the fans they do have left that goes to these games.

ive have missed more games this season than i ever have purely down to finances - im sure there are plenty more like me as well, fitba is so expensive and there has been a lot of games of late cant blame folk for keeping the 20 quid and watching on the telly

Can't see much of an argument here, the only logical choice is to give them more tickets. The home crowd, or lack of it removes any sensible grounds for arguement.

Im happy for St Mirren to take as much money as possible off the OF mutants!

They shut W6 and W7 (most of W5 too) for the hibs game and they remained empty as they couldn't even fill their allocation behind the goal. Posted Image

As for letting more of them in , I'm all for it , we could start "seats for bigots" as a campaign to get more money in the coffersPosted Image ... some S/T holders may want to give up their seat for a bigot , thereby letting the club effectively sell the seating allocation twice , thus generating more income .. . allternatively , we could all pile into the stand at the gasworks end as it looked empty yesterday , then the clowns could have the rest of the allocation, ffs think of the money to be earned. .Posted Image
