So presumably anyone with an ST there, will be getting a wee letter come renewal time to tell them 'Sorry, but you're not going to be able to renew your ticket this season there, but we'll transfer you elsewhere'...? Posted Image

Don't apologise for saying that if I got such a letter I'd tell the club to ram its ST seeing as it thinks a bigot's coin is more important.

It's not possible to segregate below the Main stand, for the bogs etc., unless the whole of the main stand from M3 (?) onwards is going to use one food servery and one bog at the end nearest the south stand.

I'm not familiar what happens in the west stand when the old scum come to town.Do the saints support end up using one food servery and one bog? If it does then I suppose it is possible to do similar with the main stand.

Why don't we just give them the family stand and avoid all that trouble?

Got to agree! Give them the family stand & decant the FS users into the West stand part that is used for the split!

Everyones a winner!

Yes they do.

The West Stand segregation gate in the interior of the stand is right on halfway, with the kitchen bang in the middle and shared between two serveries either side of said gate, after which you get the bogs outside of them going towards the ends. This is why both the Saints & bigot supports get the use of two vomitoriums (entrances), with the bigots getting to use the one in W5 (which is rather annoying for us fans in W4 & W5 who would normally use that one  ).

Oh and giving the old Scum both ends...aye everyone's a winner there, except the poor bastards getting punted from their regular seat in the Gasworks end...not to mention the fact we'd need to pass a mob of bigots when leaving the ground whereas now at least they're kept well away at the North end... <_<

It might not be practical for the remainder of this season, but I reckon less folk will be inconvenienced by that than giving up the end of the West Bank, even if it does mean making season tickets unavaliable for that stand next season.

I recall Motherwell had a similar situation about 5 years ago. There was a small number of STHs who were "asked" to move in order that Celtic fans could use a normally "home" section on a day that they were liable to win the league (They got beat BTW)
I believe it is often referred to as "helicopter Sunday."

Point being, the Well fans refused (as was their right) however, when it came to renewals, they were offered the same seat, but with the condition that the management reserve the right to re-house you on certain occassions etc.

In other words, the MFC board wanted to maximise potential income where required.

The ideal solution would be to stop segregating fans.

Non bigot games: better atmosphere
Bigot games: :fire2
