Over the last couple of months it has been like we are fans of St Mirren Amateur Football Club. The performances, work rate, tactics, substitutions, chipping and changing of lineups and strategies and stupid post-match comments have been very amateurish.
M*therwell beat M*rton 6-0 today. This is how I'd expect a professional team to play against lower league opposition.
No wins and one goal in four matches again lower league opposition is less than I'd expect from an amateur team.
St Mirren: must do better!

At the risk of being pedantic, we are supporters of the Saint Mirren professional football club PLC

Aberdeen drew with QOS.
We beat Morton comfortably earlier in the season.
I could check out other "disappointing" cup results but can't be bothered.
Get a grip, your knee deep in pish, any more and you'll drown.

I suppose being in the North East you are interested in what Aberdeen do. I don't give a flying f**k what Aberdeen do; I am a St Mirren supporter. Why even raise Aberdeen? Does Aberdeen being shite (which the are, by the way) excuse us from being unprofessional?
And we been M*rton 4-3. That means we lost 3 goals in that match. One of ours was a dubious penalty. Hardly comfortable. But not being there, I don't expect you to remember the details of the match.

We won against Hamilton.
Morton are poor at the moment and Motherwell are in form. The inverse is true of ourselves and county.
I don't recall this level of sheer arrogance from the support whenever we failed to win against lower league opposition when the previous manager was in charge - which happened a lot.

At the second chance of asking.
We failed to score at home against them.

All fair points. However, why does County being good excuse our unprofessional performance? St Mirren didn't try today. The tactics, starting lineup and players' attitudes were all unprofessional. I can accept teams being better than us, I can't accept our players and manager not trying.

Now THAT statement proves you are talking mince.
Tell us, you who knows it all, how the manager and players are not trying?
Jeesus, you have come up with some pish but you are on form tonight.

Did you see the starting lineup? The formation? The tactics? The lack of effort? The stupid substitutions? The half-hearted tackles? The constant passing around the halfway line? The nigh-on celebrations at the final whistle, as if we had got some monumental result?
Oh, no, you didn't.
However you might have heard Danny's interview where he said he was happy with the draw. If that makes you happy Danny, you can away and be happy somewhere else.
I know you're just trying to be positive, Robert, but sometimes it makes you seem as bad as Elvis. It seems both of you love it when we lose/draw. Him because he takes joy in it, you because you refuse to be critical in any way and revel in being abusive of fellow St Mirren supporters who are upset and actually showing some passion.

Ok, lets lose the "you didn't see it" routine and I'll try to explain why I feel your reaction is over the top.
I am fully aware the supporters who attend games see more and can throw some opinion on the games and the performances on the field.
What is losing you some credability is the severity af your point and your "assumption" (That's all it is) that the players and managers are not trying? I'd love to hear you quantify that with any seriousness. Also you say that you are showing passion? Nothing wrong with passion but the fact I don't agree with your level of "passion" (I see it more as an over-reaction) as a few other posters also don't agree.
And while we have had a few disagreemnets I'm really pissed off you compare me to elvis?

I don't think that is the case at all. We have a good dressing room and I'm sure the players and manager (remember bonus payments!) would have a game plan to get us through. I am worried for our second half perfomances as if you look at the goals scored you will see we are collapsing in the last 45..... There are big questions being asked just now and if Danny can't answer them in the coming weeks then he should be subject to the Gus MacPherson criticism of results ...Gus split the support after being the messsiah in guiding up to the SPL ....Danny is no different.......He is the manager of our club.....not the saviour of Scottish football!........I like Danny but if he replaced Gus to take us upward and if he dosn'tt achieve it then why should we be like faraway saint and support him no matter?

Biggest load of nonsense on the forum for ages. Maybe its time you supported one of the old firm.
