I have been asked to point out that contrary to a report in the Evening Times we are currently approximately 300 season tickets down on last years sales. Since Tuesdays meetng around 15 have been sold ,of which 5 are new season ticket holders.(which can only be good). but still gives us a massive shortfall of around £90,000.Thats the official figures. The next part is entirely my own.

Personally i would like to gauge whether the 290 still to come forward will/wont or perhaps maybe still buy a season ticket.I tried to get a feeling amongst our support on Tuesday at the end of the meeting but it didnt materialise. The question on other threads of the forum is what can we now do to ensure the impact caused by mismanagement up the road.May i put my tuppence in with a couple of suggestions.

Season ticket holders pay in to the game aganst club 12 in November.Tickets could be printed now and purchased by our support. This would make up for any shortfall from visitng fans.

Approach smisa and ask to borrow some funds to soften the cashflow problems we may have.

Join Smisa as i will be doing to make sure there will be more funds available to assist future cash problems.

Lobby your local councillor for financial assistance from the local council as East Renfrewshire have just given £1,000,000 for improvements at Rouken Glen Park.(I know theres been cutbacks but theres different types of funding).

More importantly lobby your friends, workmates and neighbours about the terrific work we as a club do in the community and ask them to contribute in any way they can.

I love my town and i love my team so lets unite together and all kick the ball in the same direction and achieve our goal.

One Town One Team regardless of colour ,creed or most importantly religion.Lets stand together

load of pish last season we sold loads of ticket due to the mega low prices. i think my cousin and grandad got there season tickets for £90 one being a student and oap. also we had big signings like thompson, teale hasselbaink. this year parkin robertson and guy.

hardly hard to work out why weve sold less price and lack of good signings

It's well documented by some of my followers I don't attend much Posted Image and always away games, as there closer for me.

I'll make a point of attending home games this season and bring as many of my family as possible.

I have to agree with an earlier poster about quality, on Tuesday night a guy said he had nt renewed his seaon ticket and SG vilified him saying you renew your ticket to support your team. Now I am not a season ticket holder anymore due to work commitments but I still go to games my reply to SG would be value for money!!!!

I had been swithering since May about getting a season ticket which I haven't had since 06/07 due to living a good distance away from Paisley. The Rangers situation obviously didn't help make up my mind but I'm also unsure as to the value for me compared to just paying at the gate.

If prices remain the same at the gate as last season then if I make 15/19 home games, which is possible with midweek games and living/working in Edinburgh, it is better to pay at the gate and gives me greater flexibility with missing a home match but attending an away match if it is easier travel-wise. If, however, the matchdays prices are likely to rise then I would happily part with my £310 up front and get a season ticket again.

If the club lose season ticket sales they have only themselves to blame - they just stuck a huge increase onto adult tickets ! It pisses people off, that and The loss of quality players.
