From fishal site:
Today Jason Naismith signed a loan deal until January with First Division side Morton and St Mirren manager, Danny Lennon reckons that it is a great opportunity for the young defender to make strides forward in his own development as a football player.
Danny said, “This should see Jason make good progress on the development he has already made. (Morton manager) Allan Moore has his side trying to play the game the right way and with the First Division being the most competitive league, in my opinion, in Scottish football, it will be great experience for Jason.
“We are looking for Jason to go to Morton and to continue the good progress that he has shown to date.”
With one player out of the Club until the New Year, Danny is looking at adding to his squad but with the finances within Scottish football still in the melting pot he knows he will have to bide his time.
He said, “The only player we have in on trial at the moment is (goalkeeper) Grant Adam who is doing particularly well. But that is a situation that we are monitoring as till we know crystal clear what is happening with things there isn’t much else we can do.”
Good luck to the lad, he always looked decent to me. And it looks like we will be getting one person in, left back?

He looks like a class act. Add a bit of experience and he should be in the 1st team in no time at all.

Good to see him going to Morton.
The 1st Div is a good league to ply your trade as a young player , good competitive football.
Hope he contributes well to their cause , I`d love to see them in our league
