Ledley 1877 Posted May 21, 2013 Report Posted May 21, 2013 Don't really get the yellow but it's a decent top! Stripes on the back too! Quote
Suggestion Posted May 21, 2013 Author Report Posted May 21, 2013 Don't really get the yellow but it's a decent top! Stripes on the back too! One of the most noticeable colours on our badge? Quote
Ledley 1877 Posted May 21, 2013 Report Posted May 21, 2013 Don't really get the yellow but it's a decent top! Stripes on the back too! One of the most noticeable colours on our badge? I know, suppose its keeping it fresh, would prefer just black and white! Quote
NeilPar72 Posted May 21, 2013 Report Posted May 21, 2013 I know, suppose its keeping it fresh, would prefer just black and white! New take on the stripes...I really like it. Sponsors logo lets it down though. Quote
Liason909 Posted May 21, 2013 Report Posted May 21, 2013 That sponsors logo ruins it for me completely. If I can buy it without the logo I'll have it Quote
FTOF Posted May 21, 2013 Report Posted May 21, 2013 It's........................... Another football strip. Quote
civilsaint Posted May 21, 2013 Report Posted May 21, 2013 Textured black stripes against plain black sponsor logo is just wrong. There is no cohension between the sponsor logo and the rest of the strip. I'm out. Quote
pozbaird Posted May 21, 2013 Report Posted May 21, 2013 Yup, I like it a lot. Said on the other thread - not my design this time, but they've adopted the Paisley pattern idea, an idea from Drew Lyall. They've done a proper Paisley pattern - great work. Don't like the sponsor logo in a small box, minor gripe though. I'll get used to the sponsor logo. Really like it - the black sleeves give it an aggressive look IMHO. The yellow detail? Credit to REA and JD for not making it red. Red bits just scream.... Dunfermline! Thumbs up! Quote
BoWSaint Posted May 21, 2013 Report Posted May 21, 2013 Really liking it. Good collar. Liking the yellow outline on the sleeves. Love the Paisley pattern in the stripes. But yeh, that black box around the sponsor is a let down. Quote
civilsaint Posted May 21, 2013 Report Posted May 21, 2013 It isn't a black box per se that is the problem, its that black blox. Quote
Desperately Seeking Susans Posted May 21, 2013 Report Posted May 21, 2013 Hope it's not black shorts. BTW never mind the shirt...is the model a new signing? Quote
aldo_j Posted May 21, 2013 Report Posted May 21, 2013 Looks not bad....would prefer to see the full kit and the top actually fitting correctly though! Quote
Callum Gilhooley Posted May 21, 2013 Report Posted May 21, 2013 Looks not bad....would prefer to see the full kit and the top actually fitting correctly though! Yeah , like its going to fit right on 90% of the folk who buy it !! Quote
Tony Fitzy Posted May 21, 2013 Report Posted May 21, 2013 Hope it's not black shorts. BTW never mind the shirt...is the model a new signing? Don't like black shorts myself. I'd say based on the more black than white colouring, it's a defo for black shorts. Have to say I like the top though. Quote
Big Jake Posted May 21, 2013 Report Posted May 21, 2013 Hope it's not black shorts. BTW never mind the shirt...is the model a new signing? The previous page on that jd link has the shorts on show. White with yellow/black Diadora emblem. Quote
dave.j Posted May 21, 2013 Report Posted May 21, 2013 So, sponsored by Blacks Of Greenock? Nice strip tho, would be better to see the stripes broken and the sponsor logo part of the kit, instead of an embossed patch. Looks great in long sleeve. Quote
FTOF Posted May 21, 2013 Report Posted May 21, 2013 Blacks were founded in Greenock. They also sponsor Oldham Athletic. Quote
Lex Posted May 21, 2013 Report Posted May 21, 2013 Really don't like it. The yellow piping looks horrible. This seasons strip was a belter though, asking for two good ones in a row is probably too much. Quote
dave.j Posted May 21, 2013 Report Posted May 21, 2013 Edit to add, don't forget the luminous yellow around the ground, fits in with the strip. Quote
