Jimmy H
Advice please, 3 of us arriving into Paisley Airport from Jersey at 2PM for a weeks golfing holiday, hoping to attend this game if timings work out, thing is it normally takes a while to get bags etc, then we are hiring a car so it will be tight if all goes to plan should be able to drive straight to ground and just make K/O. What's the score for home fans turning up close to kick off looking for tickets? Are they still on sale right up to K/O time? If our flight is even slightly delayed then we are fecked, normally I would just buy 3 tickets in advance and take the chance, if we didn't make it at least the club would still get the cash, BUT feck that as our beloved Saints never gave me or other far flung travelling buds any consideration when they cancelled the Sheep game, that debacle cost me £170 in flights, anyway back on topic, can I turn up 10 minutes before the game and purchase 3 tickets? If so where?

saint in exile
I wouldn't be leaving my car with bags inside at the ground. Maybe you could just get a cab to the game then go back to the airport afterwards? Somebody must know if there is a 'left luggage' facility at the airport. If they're in the boot, what's the big deal or is there always cars getting robbed that hasn't been reported on here?

A few have been robbed. Maybe not many, but I still wouldn't risk it. The official car park should be ok, but not the street. faraway saint
I'm stunned that even one of this motley crew from Jersey will be sober enough to drive the car..... IMHO the car park is very secure. There are security cameras and plenty of stewards about. I've yet to hear of any cars being broken into. I would be surprised if you manage to land at 2pm, get your bags, pick up the hire car and be at the ground by 3pm. A few have been robbed. Maybe not many, but I still wouldn't risk it. You're making it up.
saint in exile
You're making it up. The car break ins have been in the streets around the ground, not in the car park. Clear now?

Would be good gesture by the club and good pr.

Were not all bevvy merchants you know( used to be but not anymore) joking aside I hope to be up sometime in September if all goes well. Unfortunately my big brother Jim Warren died suddenly in June and aside from the shock of his death I then had to come back here but I need to come back up to Glasgow in Sept to sort a few things out. Now Slash maybe I should personal message you but I think you might be related to Dear Simon Richardson. Both of his brothers Ferrier and Keith would have known Jim well from our younger days. Jim was a Celtic sympathiser but came with me to the cup final and was as vociferous in the celebrations as I was ( well almost, he did find it very entertaining when I nearly fell over every time we scored) I miss him beyond words

Isle Of Bute Saint
This should be an interesting game with Harkins hating us and Gowser coming back to prove something on that I think we will need to be at our best. Hope Thomo is fit for this game.
