Guest TPAFKATS
Just seen cameron doing a party broadcast where he did the usual reference to "hard working families" Is this the same hard working families that are being hit by the welfare cuts that Osborne just announced? saintnextlifetime
The Tories have a long history of saying anything to "buy" your vote , last month , they even had the English Labour party saying the shit for them. Cameron is a clever guy , really , he may "oppose" the Labour Party in parliament but really they are all in bed together on many major issues . . The Scottish Poet , Robert Burns wrote something about it once but l can't remember the words , right now. .

RickMcD
It's kind of cute in another worldly naive way how the Conservatives are catching it here at the moment. Most party conference seasons pass with virtually no comment on here. What's different about this year? Oops, I forgot. Hell hath no fury like a Scottish Nationalist scorned. Poor sad losers. beyond our ken
There you have it folks, the tories and their supporters and their ilk would rather we didn't continue the re-politicisation of the scottish populace and that the major parties went back to their shades of grey which go generally unquestioned by the electorate. Worried people, the lot of them.
oaksoft
In fairness to Cameron he's managed to announce an entire package of things aimed squarely at the middle income earners. Those on £49k a year will be wetting themselves with excitement over this as their tax will drop significantly when these changes kick in. Love them or loathe them the middle earners are the bulk of the electorate and he'd be mad to ignore them in the face of what looks like an election defeat. Scrapping the humans rights act is an odd one though. Clearly he'll have to re-write another one to replace it.
