thewhiteman
SMiSA have a page in the match program and for the partick game we do not intend to have any of the usual trust or club related content but simply a list of any players and fans of both saints and jags killed in any global conflict over the past 100 years this is not a gimmick, just an opportunity to show the respect for those associated with our clubs who gave their lives on the same day a minutes silence will be observed before the game Please either email SMiSA, post here or pm me if you know of any names you would like to be included thank you
thewhiteman
The Farm - All Together Now Lyrics Artist: The Farm Remember boy that your forefathers died Lost in millions for a country's pride But they never mention the trenches of Belgium When they stopped fighting and they were one A spirit stronger than war was at work that night December 1914 cold, clear and bright Countries' borders were right out of sight When they joined together and decided not to fight All together now All together now All together now In no man's land, together All together now All together now All together now In no man's land, together The same old story again All those tears shed in vain Nothing learnt and nothing gained Only hope remains All together now All together now All together now In no man's land, together All together now All together now All together now In no man's land, together All together now All together now All together now In no man's land, together All together now All together now The boys had their say, they said no Stop the slaughter and let's go home Let's go, let's go, let's go, let's go, let's go The boys had their say, they said no Stop the slaughter and let's go home Let's go, let's go, let's go, let's go home All together now All together now All together now In no man's land, together All together now All together now All together now In no man's land, together The boys had their say they said no Stop the slaughter and let's go home Let's go, let's go, let's go home The boys had their say they said no Stop the slaughter and let's go home Let's go, let's go, let's go, let's go, let's go, let's go home All together now All together now All together now In no man's land, together All together now All together now All together now ... thewhiteman
sorry to have to say this but response to the intention of listing names of buddies and jags on the trust page of the program has had virtually no response so unfortunately there will be no list published other than the names of those saints players involved in WW1, although there is a few lines on the subject of remembrance day on the trust page you've no idea how difficult it is to write something about such a difficult subject while trying to convey the respect the subject truly deserves.
