Bloomsbury Bud
I had the pleasure of working with Jim for a few months, nearly 20 years ago. He was an absolute gent and very modest about his career. RIP

billyg
When Tommy Bryceland signed Jim in summer '72 he looked to be a great acquisition , his experience, with Ally McLeod and Jim Blair playing off him and with Bobby McKean and Ian Munro out wide , not forgetting Billy Johnston and Gordon McQueen at the back , we couldn't fail to win promotion. Early signs were good , a win at Ibrox a narrow defeat at high flying Ayr and some high scoring wins in the league. Then the wheels came off , inconsistency yet again with defeats at Stenny and Stirling and by the end of the season , Blair , McLeod , Storrie and McQueen were gone. RIP Jim , and thanks for the brief good memories especially when you captained the team the night we wore our "Ajax" strip for the first time
