Isle Of Bute Saint
A good few years ago was given a Tag watch from the company this watch has just stopped as it needs a battery. At the same time I seen a cracking looking watch in M + S . It has a orange strap while the watch has a black face with orange numbers and hands very sporty looking and unlike the Tag is still ticking away all for 20 quid. Have also got a Tissot sports watch which I love though its like a computer with everything it can do. compass , stop watch to name but a few though I just use it for time. Then there is a Seiko kinetic watch I got for my 40th that still keeps perfect time. Not into spending fortunes in watches , however when I see a nice watch more often than not want to buy it. The wife cant understand the need for so many watches. Anyone else like their watches ? Edited March 3, 2015 by Isle Of Bute Saint

Im going back to work , meantime I'm in a hotel lobby on their computer. Its over 90 outside while I am wearing a wool polo neck getting strange looks from other guests. British Airways did not send my luggage with all my lighter cloths , funny but a bloody nightmare so yes I have too much time on my hands ! Aye British Airways can be a right bunch of cunts when it comes to luggage. . I have a couple I use for work and 3 I would only wear if not at work (in case they got damaged) One of my work watches is a Seiko I got when I was 18 , so I have had that one longer than not had it. One of my good watches is a Omega that I inherited , the strap cost me more than I'd normally pay for a watch ,ffs !!

He got it for long service and it has a lovely bit of engraving on the back. It costs about £90 to get the battery changed! But I wear it every day and don't see the sense of it being hid away. I do like it and a few folk have commented on it.

HSS
Next time you see someone looking at the time on their watch quickly ask them what time it is.I guarantee they'll look at their watch again before they tell you.
pozbaird
I have two watches that are over ten years old and haven't missed a beat - one by the golf club manufacturer Callaway, and one by the American casual/beachwear company Tommy Bahama. My only other watch is one of the £12.99 Slazenger watches available in Dobbies garden centres. I wear that while doing the garden or washing the car or anything where it might get bashed, to keep my good ones good. It is a bargain, keeps great time and looks good. Would recommend them if you need a cheap one to wear on holiday at the beach or whatever. Edited March 3, 2015 by pozbaird
dave.j
I've had my Omega Deville for nearly 18 years. Serviced regularly and keeps great time. http://c369931.r31.cf0.rackcdn.com/20903_Omega.jpg

Stuart Dickson
I inherited my Grandfather's retirement gift from Babcock s after 50 years service. A solid gold Longines watch. I only wear that on really special occasions.
