  1. Can I suggest a wee potted plant to fill that gap on your shelf ? No gloating here... many of you called it correctly when you spoke about the lack of signings as well as lack of pre season games compared to us. Also -Thompson (and maybe Gowser) had chances today which they would normally bury. I dont see how any team can lose so many players and hope to compete in the top league. I feel sorry for the manager really - if he isnt being given the funds. If he genuinely thinks your squad is fine - then he's the villain of the piece (but I doubt it) Clearly the defence needs strengthened on todays showing. Maybe Imrie didn't do enough for you last season but it was always on the cards that he would play a big part in todays game. I was absolutely delighted to get him signed as I believed he could do better than us. Today confirmed that. I'm more optimistic for the season ahead than ever now. DL has had a bit of a wake up call I believe. All the best anyway ! (btw - I thought the playing surface was amazing today)
  2. El D is so old school. We take the Pimms noo, dont ye know .
  3. We'll see about that As for the League Cup - I'm sure most Morton fans were pleased to see the Midden winning that one. (I certainly was) I was particularly pleased at a fan like Thomson scoring. Brought a wee lump to the throat (almost) As I've probably mentioned , I was at Hampden in 1987 to see your other triumph - which was a day to remember for ever. It's hardly a rivalry now, but there's a kind of historic relationship between our clubs due to geography etc Maybe in years to come there can be a true derby atmosphere again - which would be good for us both. In the meantime we maintain our links with this fixture. Smell ye on Sat !
  4. Aye we're pure starstruck - coming to Paisley, like. I dont necessarily think that you're a prat - but yer definitely a man who suffers from hemorrhoids. Lighten up bud.
  5. A tenner to watch a game in the sun and a chance to see our new team in a competitive 'friendly' What's not to like ? About time we were winning one of these games as well Be sure to give wee Dougie pelters !
  6. A wee bit of interest added with the news of Dougie Imrie signing (on our official site). It's really not our' game of the season.' It's a pre season match with a wee bit of spice added. A half decent turnout gives both clubs and the Renfrewshire FA a few quid. I'm quite looking forward to it
