All the best to him, but no use to us as always injured. Had heard he may be forced to retire, which would be a great shame.

On Ralston, aren't we always told that it was the facilities that helped to swing matters when we've signed decent players? That we have the training and development facilities of a top-six club? And it seems, to me, that in the batch of fantastic young players we've seen coming through over the past few years, that the investment has been justified. But the comparison to the Fakes is an interesting one. Perhaps we are playing the wrong game here - maybe we just let other teams develop players and save our money so we can assemble short-term squads and spend all our cash on wages and agents' fees. I don't agree with that, personally, but I would like us to find a way to exist comfortably in the top flight and also bring young talent through. Surely the two can co-exist at a club.

Thanks Sir Shull To answer the above. W7 is our allocated section, W6 gets taped off so we're not blocking anyone's view. If the section gets bigger and bigger, it might start to spread towards W6. Think this will be one of our best efforts so far, a lot of time went into it - even booked out a hall to do the painting. Got plenty of flags too. The SLO has been really helpful. Thanks to the club for getting on board, long may the good communication continue. Ideally we want the whole stadium getting involved, but anyone of any age or any gender, (especially Shull) is welcome to come join us to help get the season off to a flyer.

Id say its poorer than it used to be, but it wouldnt need tweaked too much to make it decent value again - used to do it quite regularly but the last few times ive been its not been worth the money. Hopefully a revamp giving slightly better value for money, better food and longer for the drinks package would make it worth revisiting again. There should be comment cards for people visiting this season to see what they think and what they could better, it should be full every week really if its priced well.

A bit sad to see Rocco go, a very good player when fit. I think his chances might have been limited this season with us, been waiting for this to happen since McShane signed. I'm sure he'll have been keen to go, because he's too good a player to be sitting on the bench. He'll be an asset to another club, probably in this division. Good luck to him, unless he's playing against the buds. Would imagine there's a player on the verge of signing then, if we're clearing space on the wage bill.

Looks like whenever there are items in the vote that would give straight to the club, then those choices are always going to win, can't say i'm against anything that enhances the product on the park, but i am disappointed that we don't get much of a chance of helping the commuinity in general. It was one of the selling points of the bid after all. Maybe a vote which is free of any requests from the club every so often could address that.

No idea. But good players want to play at good training facilities, so if we didn't have a 5 star facility, I'm 99% sure we would now be in league 1. We may have the Paisley Sports Village by 2020 anyway!

Have to agree about the Community side of things. The weights option should have been in the same section as the Sports Scientist with the other section only being for Community related stuff. Everything seems to be weighted in favour of the Club. There's not been a decent vote to date.

Where do I even f**king start. No fume hoods despite stuff foaming from every flask. No gloves or safety specs. That lab coat is four sizes too small and won't provide adequate protection. A huge f**k off flask dangling unsupported whilst full of green foaming stuff. Same with the flask at the back. No obvious signs of a lab book. Clearly attempting several experiments at the same time. Untidy and cluttered workbench. You may well vote for this scientist but IMO this is a disaster waiting to happen.

Democratic vote so no promises broken. The paying members made the choice on what the money would be spent on. SMISA have been completely honest from day one that the spending of the money would be the paying members choice. Also at no point did SMISA say every penny would go to community.

    Roar of the Crowd.

If we play an exciting brand of football with a good string of wins you need a good PR machine to go out there and tell everybody Tony would be good for that. It's what Fergie did I remember Fergie even turning up at the dancin on a Friday night telling punters to come and watch us. That resulted in anything from 8 ,000 to 10,000 coming through the gate. Giving free tickets to groups can get young ones wanting to come back. I believe the brand of football we played at the tail end of last season is the way to get punters to come but as I wrote above you need good PR to take the word out to the community.

    The 3 Monthly Spend

It always has been weighted in favour of the club (especially the weights for the gym) Putting the vote into two tiers with a spend request from the club in each tier was a sure way of getting Jack the two things he wanted. If there is a way to set the choices in favour of club requests it will be done that way. Sad to see that the Panda club suffers at the request of the club though, no more "The SMiSA panda club" and the wider community who could benefit from funds and the possible knock on effect of that benefitting the club are not likely to get a look in.

Looks like the options are "loaded" and, TBH, there is little real outcome than what the club sees as a request to "improve the club", all more whataboutery. The idea of helping the community was a selling point, as I recall, and there seems to be little of the cash doing exactly this. Never mind, the "we support the club till we're blue in the face" crew will be overjoyed and, after all, it is democracy.

So we have paid the wages for the sports scientist for one year before the bowl gets passed around again? Smisa needs to grow a bit more of a spine and be willing to say these should be cost already accounted for within the running of the club.

It seems the majority see him as a decent player who's, unluckily for us and him, been blighted by injuries. We didn't really have an option as it was stated that we have to free up some money before we can make any more purchases. Again, a shame for all concerned and all the best to him.

There is potential for the Council , Sports Development Scotland , A House Building Company , St Mirren , Ralston Residents Association and whoever we lease Ralston from to come together and work a solution out where Ralson is developed into housing and training pitches are developed on land next to the ground ( probably as p[art of the first phase of the new sports village ) .

    Hospitality Prices 2017/18

I try and get to hospitality once or twice a season. It's always a good day out. I'd agree the quality isn't quite as good as when it was run by En Croute but have never had any problems with the service at all which has always been good. Pricing hasn't changed this season from last. As a small aside a glass of bubbly on arrival is only served at Cat A and B games, you don't get that at Cat C games. If you are an individual paying for it then the VAT element makes it quite expensive, but if you are booking through a VAT registered company who reclaim that VAT then it isn't a bad deal to take clients to a game, and offer them food and drink all afternoon for £85 a head.

Our dedicated training complex has often been cited as a contributory factor when players opt to sign with the club. I'd be surprised if it doesn't have some influence (wouldn't want to overstate it, right enough - filthy lucre ruling supreme, no doubt). I spoke to Gus during the earth breaking ceremony for the new ground, and he said that the development of Ralston was hugely significant. He was clearly sick of trying to find parks that weren't entirely carpeted with broken glass and dug shite (white or otherwise).

Signing a player with an injury is always going to be a risk. Maybe Jack Ross is taking into consideration that there are 36 league games in a Championship season and having a first choice player unavailable for the first 2 or 4 or 6 or 8 of those games is a price worth paying to secure the signing for the bulk of the season. IMO Harry Davis's contribution to our revival after Christmas is enough to suggest that he is a risk well worth taking.
