A friend of mine travelled up from Leeds to Glasgow to see his 93 year old mother in an effort to get her to understand and practice social distancing. She will be OK she says as her neighbours will pop round!!

Both of my sons run businesses. In both cases they are now, substantially working from home and in each case face to face contact with staff and clients has been cut back. In each case this will hit income. The government support will help and both are likely (one more than the other) to have pent up demand after the crisis. That together with the reserves they built up in better times and government support will see them through. Their pension funds have taken big (paper) haircuts though.

First match after the North Bank was made all seating. Can't remember who we were playing but it was busy. Our group sat down in the seats allocated but the one I had was occupied. The guy's argument was that he usually stood at that spot. Unlikely, as we did. He moved.

My grandson is a uni student in Glasgow. His classes are cancelled but his part time job in a supermarket has had his hours extended. He is officially, a key worker.

My wife had been bed bound at home for around 8 years until early 1987. I was offered the use of a villa in Portugal by a friend and booked tickets for May. I told my wife she was going. The next day I realised that if we got through the Semi Final then I would miss the final. I gave the flights to one of my managers who had been having a tough time as well as the use of the villa. I made the final.
