  4. Not sure how saints are preparing or broadcasting. Come on Jimbo. Gies a clue but it appears the opening ceremony starts at 5pm. Get yir cargo in. Leyton Orient @leytonorientfc · 16h Ok, let's go! The opening ceremony of #UltimateQuaranTeam will see us welcome @fclokomotiv ! We're going to kick off at *5pm tomorrow (Sunday) evening* on Twitch - before it all starts 7pm! Is your fixture confirmed? Use the thread below to let us know the day and time #LOFC 56 44 483 Tip
  5. Kick off looks like Sunday 7pm. 6 mins each half. FFS how many cans can you drink in 12 Minutes. Hope Jimbo can stretch the media bit out. Still not sure who's playing for saints but Morias, McAllister and Magennis the front runners.
  6. I can relate to quite a few of the stories on Here. The 70’s and 80’s were as much about surviving the matchday never mind suffering the game play. I mainly travelled on the Tudor bus back then. Fergie’s furies they were the days. Bus windae’s tanned at Arbroath and Falkirk. A 0-0 home game against Kilmarnock at Love street where bottles and cans flew back and forward for most of the game and St Johns ambulance ran out of stretchers and bandages for the injured. A similar escapade at Airdrie the week after the famous Clydebank Xmas day game. The night we won the league in Dundee when the Dundee Derry tried to chase us out of town and a guy with a dart in the back of his napper at a The United Cup game. What about the next round in Motherwell. Does anyone remember the day we played Celtic just after the pope had died unexpectedly on the Friday night and some guys thought it would be funny to display the newspaper pics of the dead pontif on our supporter bus windows. How our buses, never mind our windows, weren’t trashed that day I’ll never know. The Celtic fans weren’t the brightest though. Every time our bus passed a Celtic bus, they would spit at us. Stupid twats, I still laugh at the thought of their Grog running down the inside of their own windows. I could cite hundreds more but I’m glad we’ve all moved on from that nonsense. Those Halcyon days.
  7. Leyton Orient @leytonorientfc · 13h Just to keep everyone up to date... We're working hard to get everything sorted, and will be in touch with all clubs tomorrow. We can confirm that we are looking for the First Round to start this *Sunday* Which game are you most looking forward to? #UltimateQuaranTeam
  8. Does Anyone know the FIFA 20 St Mirren Team. I don't think McAllister is in it. I don't think any of our January signings will be in either. We can still play big Gary and Paul McGinn though.
  9. Live on Twitch (date TBA) Kyle McAllister or Magennis representing Saints. Get a couple of cans in for the big Match. https://www.leytonorient.com/2020/03/17/ultimate-quaran-team-full-draw/ No PATG Shull. Even you can watch
  10. I'm not sure what the crowd was yesterday but looking around it looked almost full. If the crowd was as low as 40.000 and it was probably more and Celtic knocked a tenner of of everyone's ticket price the fans would save £400,000. Multiply that by 19 and the fans could save £7,600,000. That's a lot of half pint shandies.
  11. Looking forward to a great day/night out. Won't be in my usual seat I'm in the main stand for some scran and a couple of Shandies with the in crowd. 13, 26, 59, 77 @87 will be my line for the first goal scored. (Totally unoriginal) Saints going through and a signed ball for most of Hospitality It's going to be a great night. COYS
  12. For those of us, who don't live in the virtual world, being there is the whole point. £12 or £24, both recent games have been well worth the cash for the emotional roller coasters that they were. I released a few endorphins and experienced a fair bit of euphoria during these two games. Real life experience has got to be your first choice guys. Can't wait for Saturday and I'd recommend it to all you Matchday keyboard warriors who could go but just can't be arsed or grudge paying the cash. I appreciate some people Can't go but I wholly recommend the real thing if you can make it. It's a rare day oot and me and the other 600 buds who were actually there last night will never forget it. COYS. Give it a try. You know it makes sense.
  13. Weird journey plan today Heading through to Paisley on the train to meet the mates for a couple of beers before heading to Motherwell on the tile bus. Wife and daughter driving to motherwell for the game and driving me home. Wife says it'll be cheaper than getting a hotel. An extra feckin £48 quid for two more tickets. Not sure how that saves me money??? Sooner Shull is running the SFAthe better. £9 is plenty for a day oot with the wife. See you all there. COYS
  14. LOL. just read above, The players didn't know they had won on Tuesday night and were waiting on junior taking a sixth penalty. I'm not sure whats worse the players not being able to count or the thought of Junior at the penalty spot. Priceless.
  15. Looking forward to the game tonight, weather sounds a bit ominous but fingers crossed. If the games called off whether its now or 5pm lots of fans who who stay further away and have pre-booked travel and accommodation for a rescheduled TV game will be out of pocket but that's a risk we take, so feck off rain and feck off those messing about with Sat 3pm kickoffs. Absolutely buzzing after first half performance on Tuesday. More again tonight please saints. It would be wonderful to wake up six clear of hearts tomorrow.
  16. Trains back to North Berwick don't run late enough to get home from midweek games. Especially ones with extra time and penalties, so we stayed in Motherwell last night. Had a great time. The Motherwell fans we met after the game were all great company. Last night was a classic. Absolutely loved it. Second half was a bit scary but we hung on and snatched victory from the jaws of defeat. Awesome.
  17. Still on way home but what a night. Cup games are magic and last night was something special. Got to agree with the pro cup posts. Hopefully see you all at Hampden
  18. Not been on a match thread for a while because I've been driving to games. Back to normal today. On the train. Heading for a pre match pint or two. Would like to see Ross Wallace get 10 or 15 mins today. His goal videos remind me of Adam Hamill. Hopefully we can resurrect the 40 yards or 50 yards wallace always scores Chant See you all there COYS
  19. Feck it. voted. too late to change my mind now. Can get back to important stuff now. Need to get train tickets for Motherwel and the Fecking scotrail website is worse than interstadia. COYS
  20. Just a thought but if Kibble come on Board maybe that shitfest of a ticket website run by InterStadia will get punted and we'll all be able to buy tickets online with no hassle. Hopefully they will have the contacts and resources to assist there. That would be a great Contribution.
  21. I think they may have come to the same conclusion as me. Namely, "F**k some one has to run this and the way things are going the lunatics will be running the asylum. We need help" Now they are asking the lunatics to make a decision. I don't think you could get a stronger admission of Truth.
  22. I cannot agree or disagree with anything you say because I don't have a clue (possibly like most SMISA members but maybe I'm a minority) how the club is run day to day or what plans it has for the future. I am not up to speed with the current interests or challenges in most aspects of the club other than the bit on the park. I can tell you who the players are and who I think is playing well and playing shite because I go to games but I've never been to a board meeting or even a SMISA meeting. I'm just worried that without the proper expertise. If SMISA (of which I am a member) get complete control. Then the lunatics will be running the asylum. The volatile £2 spend discussions, the scepticism about SMISA from non SMISA Fans and the fascination with getting it right up GS on here does not paint a pretty picture of fan ownership. You more than anyone has been banging the Question SMISA drum. Fan ownership is beginning to scare me more than the thought of a kibble veto. The anarchy which could be unleashed if every Shull, faraway and st Ricky suddenly thinks they should have as big a say as the board is frightening. No one knows how things will work if we reject Kibble. There is no plan. The Kibble may not be ideal but we have no real leadership at present. SMISA will still exist in any event. If it blunders on for another 5 years without kibble, I suppose it means we can keep the GS is Cnut threads running and keep spending our £2 pot on stuff non smisa folk don't want and keep fantasising and scheming about how we can wrestle 300K from GS because he should have gone under if Gilmour had been more prudent. Every cloud has a silver lining. Still undecided.
