Our position on the site was you can't blame the club for being unlucky in the current circumstances but we're being punished for the club not enforcing the rules and having to postpone games.

    Rangers didn't postpone a game.
Celtic and Aberdeen were forced by the government and the SPFL to postpone their matches.
    Our case is entirely different.

What happens to ST holders for the 2 forfeited games I wonder. Club need to explain that one see it's basically their fault.

We're being punished as a club for not enforcing specific rules leading to postponements so it's different from individual players or groups of players breaking the rules on their own initiative.
Gotta look at the CEO position...

The punishment is harsh but we have no one to blame but ourselves, the presidency has been set now though so anyone else that brakes the rules MUST be punished in the same way.
We need to use any sense of injustice as a motivation in the coming weeks

Agreed. Having read the report, we’ve been wholly negligent on the matter. You can argue about Aberdeen and Celtic, but this has occurred because we’ve failed to manage things correctly in our control. Failure to set things out on coaches, meals, etc is idiotic.
    Zero grounds for appeal.

A "bubble" at our level is impossible. Players going home to wives, partners and families every night can't possibly form a bubble so car sharing is madness

Given the reputation of Buddies, might I suggest you should pronounce it, "S Miser Stadium"

Don't worry folks. New amendments are getting put through to bolster all the hate crime laws and give everybody the chance to be offended.
Your right to be offended will be increased to include ageism so all this talk  on this thread of things like being being born in 1942 or even claiming someone is young enough to be a student cannot be reposted in any way that could cause upset.  The normal requirement to prove guilty intent is not required to obtain a prosecution under hate laws.  If any one calls you a codger, crumbly, whippersnapper or millennial you can play the ageism card and get them wheeched off to jail whether they meant to insult you or not.
Unfortunately I am still unprotected if some calls me baldy and folk from Greenock can still be described as smelly but freedom of speech is definitely getting restricted to stop people insulting anyone whether they meant it or not.
Absolutely splendid news, the new  Hate Crime and Public Order (Scotland) bill also repeals Blasphemy so we just blame God for everything now. Brilliant, Anne Budge can now just accept it's  God fault Hearts are going down and stop blaming us.

The way I see it (and it makes no difference to me as I fit neither category) is that STHs pledge their cash to the Club up front which for obvious reasons will be highly beneficial to the club. You choose for reasons or convenience best known to you, to pledge your cash to the club on a week to week basis, which is still obviously hugely beneficial to the club, but arguably slightly less so.
So, in the highly unenviable position of the club having to make a very difficult decision, I could understand why preference would be given to STHs over fans in your category.

I suspect that the majority of fans that get into the ground will just be thankful that they're in the stadium, no matter where they're sitting.
That's certainly the case for me.

But now we get to play Hamilton without immediately having gone through two bone sapping OF humpings in 4 days.
That's not being shat on IMO.
That's someone giving us a wee break.

It might be good for us, it might not , but it's setting a bizarre precedent going forward.
Are we expected to believe that no one at Celtic knew that a player had picked up his passport and left the country for 4 days? Most employers measure how long their employees have taken in the toilet ffs
Imagine a St Mirren player had went to Spain after a bad result, blatantly disregarding the rules and risking the football season being cancelled.
The SPFL would 100% have made an example of St Mirren.
If the club had any balls they would have said that we are ready and willing to play tomorrow night - and challenged Celtic to fulfill the fixture, or forfeit the game.
Because it's Celtic, we bend over - they get a slap on the wrist and the game is postponed.
Does this mean that if a club want a game postponed, they send a player to Spain for a few days?
Celtic now have a convenient break up until their Champions League qualifier, we end up with a fixture that will no doubt be part of a big backlog later in the season.

I think the insinuation is that Scottish Football will be getting the red card, not the next team.
There have been many valid and some silly comments regarding Covid, football, disciplinary action, Public health and conspiracies but it looks like wee Nicky is backing herself into a corner and the next breach could well be the end of the season for everyone.
I can accept Aberdeen may have an excuse but I find it hard to believe Celtic could misplace a player for 4 days before a match and then play him. It seems a bit odd that he would miss training etc and still play unless he took time off and told lies. Surely Celtic can't be that naive. Maybe the club is faultless but it seems a bit odd.
I take it Bolingoli will get a police visit and pay at least his £480 spot fine.  I say take him to court and bump him for the full five grand.  As HSS suggests he is as thick as  $#^? in the neck of a bottle. He deserves it.
Anything worth watching on St Mirren TV on Wednesday night?

East Lothian Saint reacted to Sonny in Gus on way out
The situation now is pretty different from 2 years ago. Back then we had a numpty signing players and wasting loads of money we could not afford. We were also offering these shite players 2 and 3 year deals with no-one else checking if they were worth it. Exit Stubbs and enter Kearney. Kearny knew little of the Scottish League and players so needed help. Enter Gus. Gus did sign some decent players but mostly on 1 year contracts which made us having to repeat the process all over again every 12 months. Gus also scouted far and wide for players.
Enter Jim. Whereas Kearney did not have the knowledge and time to check players as he was back in NI every week Jim did have a good knowledge of Scottish football and had contacts and knowledge of LoI football. Kearney agreed to Gus's recommendations whereas Jim wants to personally check over all potential signings. Jim allegedly wants to concentrate on British players and continuity with 2 year deals so the need to change the whole setup every 12 months has decreased and we don't need someone to fly to Prague on a wet Tue night to watch a reserve game.
Gus done a good and honest job with us and I wish him all the best however I can understand in these hard times that we cannot afford to pay for a full time senior scout when the manager is prepared to do the checking and has the final say on appointments.
Best of luck Gus in the future.

    Crazy...

First I knew about my renewal was on getting an email to say that my annual subscription had been cancelled.

Followed by one that confirming my renewal.

I had been automatically renewed then had my automatic renewal cancelled at the same time!

They automatically renewed mine too.  I didn't realise I had an auto-renew option and no one told me I would get it free for three months as I already have a season ticket before they took my subscription. On the bright side I suppose that gives me three months to work out the answer to your question.
Only in football would anyone buy 9 Months for the price of 12.
There is no logic to this game.

7 bookings and 2 sending off's in 33 games, season before last.
Let's hope that JG can channel that aggression in a subtle manner, just like he used to.
