The Saints are alive with the signing of Muzek.

Accies fans could put up with finishing 10th every year or winning the play off final when there was a sense that there wasn't much between most of the bottom 6 teams and where they'd expect to pick up 35-40 points at least. This season although they are sitting 10th they have only scored 8 goals in 21 league games not involving their head to heads with us. Dundee lost 6 games in a row and changed managers; we are one of the promoted teams and have changed managers twice since winning the Championship and have signed 21 players since the start of the summer window and released 32 players and despite all this Hamilton are a grand total of 2 points better off than us as we move into February. Accies also find themselves, give or take a point of two, on half the points total of Lanarkshire rivals Motherwell and Championship runner-up Livingston who also have a smaller budget than them. Canning also found himself in the position that Gus and Danny found themselves in that after a few seasons of beating the drop if there doesn't appear to be signs of progress (good cup runs, exciting homegrown players coming through, potential for a better league position on the near horizon) pressure grows to change manager and goodwill and patience towards the manager fade away. Canning will always be unfavourably judged in comparisons with Alex Neil or with the squad Billy Reid brought through.
I would reckon Dundee fans will be taking the QOTS results as proof Dundee could struggle in the Championship or play-off final. Here's hoping Accies don't get a new manager bounce and both of them struggle for form and results while we face Rangers and Aberdeen.

Taking anything, will be a large bonus. Even a small defeat! Prefer no more injuries or suspensions - we cannot afford to weaken just as we are starting to build some strength...
Don't like being negative, but we need to really work and gel as a team... they will be physically stronger - we need to last the whole 90 minutes for a change  . ..

The game must appear different when watching it on the TV ? I thought Lyons & McGinn were actually grafting hard today. While I didn’t really expect the new signings to be up to speed yet considering they have never played in Scotland. Anyway just back home from the game, trying to defrost my knees. 
Anyhoo, plus points: we created chances, we look a lot sharper and quicker in the final third. We aren’t any further behind or main competitors ( Dundee, Hamilton) 
Not so good points: individual errors still evident (p.mcginn) 
overal we look better than before the window, however need a big centre forward, Jackson was actually doing pretty well today at bringing the ball down and holding it. We should have known Hibs were going to win today, no manager, hadn’t won in 5 games, that’s where we always help out it’s the stmirren way, we will probably win 1-0 at ibrox!

So we won't know until 20 minutes into the game on Sunday if he was signed by Gus or himself.

I was wondering what that guy did to merit the abuse he was getting. If all he did was win the draw the "paedo" chants were uncalled for.
He won 10k though so no wonder he was smiling.
 

Didn’t expect much yesterday but along with the other 270 Saints fans who were there, I watched as our hopes of achieving anything were very quickly dashed and the Parkhead disco lights were put into action.
Thought our keeper played well and his double save before Burke pounced on the third rebound was something to shout about before the disco lights burst into action again.
Watching the Saints play a 5-5-0 formation on the edge of our 18-yard box wasn’t particularly encouraging and parking the bus there did nothing to stop the celebratory lighting effects of the Stadium DJ.
Celtic were miles ahead in every area and you didn’t need any additional lighting to show that up.
The introduction of Kyle McAlistair allowing us to break from the 5-5-0 was a positive but to be fair Jackson was as good as zero up front and couldn’t do anything in the couple of times he crossed into the Celtic half. Hopefully McAllistair is the player who can do something to brighten up the rest of our season.
I just wonder why it took so long to bring him on?
Except for the pitch which did look diseased, Celtic Park looked good last night and the stadium is different class but the approach roads for the fans were dangerous. London Road was an Ice Rink and I witnessed a few fans falling on their arse, which was mildly amusing as they were all Celtic fans.
We need to turn up on Sunday against Hibs. Hopefully McAllister and our new striker (whoever he may be) can turn things around. From our point of view he was the only shining light  last night and the mystery for me was why he was only on the park for about 20 mins.
