Baccus and Strain are an amazing unit playing together, their interplay can be beautiful to watch. Look at the build-up to our penalty yesterday. I'm pretty sure O'Hara will be a starter when he's fit again but hopefully not at the expense of Baccus.

My pet hate playing Motherwell is their embarrassing "wee hard men" schoolboy section. More annoying is the fact that Motherwell FC actively encourage these mini-morons to congregate together to create the public nuisance. On their Official Club website they are encouragong them to buy tickets for the "singing section" N1 (well actually they say "signing section" but I reckon we know what they mean).

Seriously negative stuff Magnus, before a ball has been kicked in the 2023-24 league season, and with the transfer window still open for several more weeks. I'm sure more players will leave and others will be brought in before the transfer window closes. We have a manager and a recruitment team who are hugely experienced in wheeling and dealing at the "lower" end of the market, having already brought in talented (but unknown) players from Ireland and the Southern Hemisphere. We should trust them to sort things out for this season.

And I think Arbroath will be familiar with Olusanya's 'strengths'.

Let's hope that this "forward" can contribute as much as Curtis Main has done defensively at corners, free kicks, etc. A forward that offers nothing defensively would be a poor replacement for CM.

Pre-season friendlies are training exercises. You can't read anything into them. Last season we were beaten by Northampton Town in Paisley. How did our season go after that ?
