Maybe it wasn't clear from my formatting, but I was working chronologically. Sorry for that. That scenario was listed multiple times as it has come and gone a number of times.
No attempt to pad out the list.
    No prize.

The very fact that there isn't a single place where I can identify the continuously changing criteria reinforces my point.
    The goal posts have moved numerous times including;
Free entry for guests who have pre-booked,
£3 entry for non-members on the day,
    No entry to non-members.
Non-members welcome after one of the December games (or were they? too much confusion)
    Non-members not welcome.

Expecting potential customers to check the criteria each week does not lend itself to maximising footfall. I can't see what is controversial about this point, it isn't rocket science.

How many different iterations of access arrangements have there been now? Must be into double figures?
I get that they are devoting a lot of time and effort to this cause (for which they should be applauded) but the people involved need to realise that simplicity is most productive, efficient and effective.
As good as the facility may be, what a farce the whole process is. I dare say they are loosing a lot of custom for this reason. If folk have to look up the rules every other week to find out who is allowed in and when, the whole process is failing.
    Simplicity, simplicity, simplicity, simplicity.

I'm a founder member of the club but have actually only been in twice due to no-one I go with being prepared to pay in.
I'm more than happy continuing to pay my membership fee for at least a year to give the club a chance to get on its feet.
However I think the club is missing a trick by not opening it to the general public. By making it member only or to pre-book at least a day in advance, it prevents the casual or occasional fan from visiting the club. It also prevents away fans from going which is a shame as it can encourage friendly relations with other clubs.
What I would like to see is the membership fee used for a discount on drinks, with the regular price being increased for non-members. So for example, the regular price could be £4 a pint for non-members and £3 for members. For people that want to ensure they gain entry, they'll just have to get there early. If I was to get there and the place was full, I wouldn't have a problem with it, despite being a member.

Ok. I'm genuinely interested, have no grudge to bear either way and have not indulged in abuse.

Is SMISA a Community Benefit Society? And how does it fulfil this roll?

Not that he needs it nor courts it, but I will defend his post.
There was nothing malicious or acerbic about it and if responded to positively, would help SMISA be totally transparent.

That though is the attitude that facilitates gross mismanagement of finances of community groups. Unless you know who they are and how decisions are taken you can't possibly conclude that your money is being spent wisely. There's enough history of community groups misappropriating cash to suggest you should care.

Note: I am absolutely not accusing anyone involved in SMISA of mismanaging finances. Transparency/clarity is in everyone's interests.

Buds, you need to understand, everything that goes right is cause of the SNP and everything that goes wrong is cause of Westminster.

So you think the SNP's "no to nuclear" stance has nothing to do with the fact that no nuclear sites are progressing in Scotland?
Scotland is set to become a net importer from the grid. Thankfully the UK Grid will see us good.

I consider myself a St Mirren fan but I could never imagine the situation where I'd give the club a loan of £10,000 or more even if I was almost guaranteed it was paid back.

For this reason I find it very difficult to criticise any director that has done this. I couldn't imagine having the conversation with my wife that would lead to this happening.

I posted the same request a couple of years ago, and received a few responses. I contacted maybe three or four, left details, and never heard a peep after that from any of them! My suggestion is to cast the net far and wide.

You're at it now, having taken the time to read and post the multiple responses.

I'm not concerned at all, just find your response mildly entertaining.

I'm not having a go at you mate but why bother correcting someone then say you can't be bothered telling the real reason?
You've taken some over the top stick on here mate but IMHO this type of thing just fuels the frustrations of fans.

The fans council have done some wonderful things but there's still the masonic clique feel about it. You know the real reason why the big screen isn't used but it's a secret.....

At your next meeting could you ask for the minutes to be updated online?
It's been pointed out on here by several forum users but seems to go ignored. Small things like this would help improve opinions of the council in my opinion (not that it's important).
