Let's be honest, despite their precarious financial position, they can offer to quadruple his wages and when McGregor retires they will save on their wage bill. They may even offload other keepers too. I suspect they will cash in on Morelos too, given that Defoe is scoring regularly and more often 1st choice t the moment...

This transfer can take several months and some never occur. Just had a look for any news on Lewis.  Was called up to the Scotland squad late for the San Marino game. That's the last news I can find. Going to a Edinburgh or Aberdeen would have been progress for Lewis. He must be feeling very frustrated.
