Yeah but the gossip is it's us or Falkirk who are in for him - neither of whom will be in a position to pay the £1700 p.w. Loy is reputed to be on so Dundee will probably have to release two players in order to sign one.
Spoiler Normal rules may not apply to Dundee if they're en route to Admin3.

£1,700 a week sounds not too bad. Out of curiosity, does anyone have any idea of the average weekly wage of our first team squad?

St Mirren are to make Dale Hilson their eighth signing of the summer, with the 24-year-old forward a free agent after leaving Championship rivals Queen of the South. (Daily Record, print edition)

Decent squad player. Similar to what Josh Todd did last year.

looking forward to seeing Todd step up this season. Definitely a player there...

Or find a younger player with potential for half that amount

Nathan Flannagan out on loan then.

I'm assuming you've quoted the wrong post, but on Flanagan, I wonder if his deal and the reported signing of this lad from QofS would suggest that Morgan might be on his way.

I was talking to my Dons supporting colleague yesterday, and mentioned to him that I would be surprised if McInnes wasn't looking at Lewis. They have lost important wide players in McGinn and Hayes, so need to strengthen in those areas, and Morgan would probably be a good fit for them, sadly.

Probably not a bad shout. Plus, I think that means I've misunderstood this tweet...

I took that to mean that Loy might still be arriving, but perhaps it means he's being signed as a replacement for an outgoing wide player. :(

Would they be be willing to splash the cash though ? I doubt it . We've already knocked back at reported 250k for him , so would Aberdeen be willing to up that ? Also the club said he's not for sale .
