Kendo
Watching Alba, Goodwin was sent off due to the noise made by Adams and that special wee sh*te McNamara have made.
Drew
Laughable decision that could, had we not played so superbly well, been hugely significant. Shocking officiating. Had it been anyone other than Goodwin, it would never have been given.
Callum Gilhooley
What a game. Great spirit shown by the whole team . Red card ? Never ! & John McGinn ? we`re not worthy !
monster munch
Having seen it on Alba I actually believe that was quite a bad tackle. He didn't need to go in for that and he has caught Thomson late there. A yellow at the very least.
islaysaint
Thomson should get a couple of weeks suspension for his oscar performance. Kevin Clancy should be given a long rest in the Saturday morning leagues. Seriously the standard of refs have been so bad this season. habbiesaint
Never a red card, he caught him with his trailing leg which was behind his back when contact was made.

As for "he didn't need to go in" , that's what players do.
Isle Of Bute Saint
Not seen the Alba from where I was sitting it looked like Goodwin went in with two feet with his studs showing but he did not connect a booking maybe a sending off never. Maybe it was my saints glasses but the ref was giving them everything 50 50. Still mustn't grumble fantastic result
Dirty Sanchez
To think there would have been quite a few Hibs fans who would have been dodging the football scores all day to watch that 'as live' on Alba.
ulysses
Brilliant, done the job, sorted. Goodwin was silly to go in like that, but after seeing it back, it was never a red. Hopeful for the appeal. Level on points with Hibs now. Big game next Friday! Can we do it? Aye, course. COYS!
Spam_Valley
Great result. Stupid tackle from Goodwin and we'd be screaming for a red card the other way. Liability. A point at least from the Thistle game and we'll be fine.
Gareth_Glasgow
Goodwin. f**kin shocker. will Goodwin ever learn? Lets not kid ourselves the guy is a f'kin liability and has let us down once again. Guys a f**king nut job and as much of a liability as Cheesy It would be great if St Mirren fans actually watched the incident instead of sticking the boot into Goodwin at every unwarranted opportunity. No wonder he is vilified by the officials and the press when our own supporters are no better. It's disgraceful.
cambiebud
Baffled as to why that was a red card.He left the ground for a tackle he didn't have to make. However, if it had been anyone else, he would probably been booked. Doubt it he'll win an appeal.
Drew
It was never a red in a million years. He didn't need to make the tackle but was alread past Thomson and his foot was bent back under him. To suggest that it was serious foul play is preposterous. The officiating was predictably hellish yet again this afternoon.

Solus The Saint
I'd expect us to appeal. Yellow card at most.
Dibbles old paperboy
I think we will appeal in the off chance we win the appeal and have Goodwin available rather than suspended with 4 games left. We have nothing to lose by appealing.
Big Jake
Great 3 points, again. Very mature performances from mcginn and McLean. Thought they controlled the game by calming it down when needed and burst forward to win us a freekick when under pressure. Ref was gash, no surprise there. Fantastic to see out players fight for 90 mins and also a through ball to run onto and score, we don't do it often enough. More beer time :-)
Big Jake
Another thing, Butcher. Yer just a shite Pat Fenlon :-)
Bloomsbury Bud
Allowing them more supporters can only be a help to them because any atmosphere created in the ground will come from them giving there team a boost. But then again they probably wont need it as we dont do two wins in a row very often. Aye, those visiting Hibees fair put the wind up us right enough. Sitting quietly, a few bouts of booing and leaving early.
JM1
Kenny McLean and John McGinn were streets ahead of everyone else on the park today. What fantastic players. I love watching them when they're on their game. Can anyone actually knock McGinn off the ball? He's a tank!
TsuMirren
Cracking performance, no point picking at any of it. 2 goals, 3 points, another great argument in W2 and no muppet in W1...can't get better.
Julian Banjos
Solid defence after we went down to 10 men and two well-taken goals. Really satisfying. Hard to know what to say about Goodwin. Would have to see it again, but we weren't too far from the incident and it seemed that he made the tackle after the referee had blown his whistle. If nothing else it was very late. I can't see us winning an appeal. Djemba Djemba on Friday?
Buffs
Fantastic result. Whole team dug in after we down to 10 men. Real fighting spirit being shown in last 3 games. We have got abit of momentum just now but must keep it going. Long, long way to go. Happy Buddie tonight!
