murray street
Both are streaming player sticks that connect to an HDMI slot on your tv. 1: Are you restricted to the content that these providers allow ie: can you only watch what is in your google chrome browser ie: can you only watch what Roku code in to their streaming sticks? 2: Will there be a generic streaming stick in the near future where you can stream exactly what is on your laptop/pc I do all of the above with a lead that runs from my laptop to my tv, and I can watch what I want without having to subscribe to anything at all. Only sensible replies please, remember this sub forum is not General Nonsense.

murray street
I watch streaming torrent movies and sky sports games in hd via a streaming player called ace player hd. I pay £4 a month for a vpn to get round my isp (EE) throttling p2p traffic and barring torrent sites. I looks to me like chromecast and roku sticks are not customizable and I would not have the same freedom of choice with these streaming sticks. I'm with virgin and I watch the NFL on Sundays and sometimes we're on !!!!! watched a wee bit of Celtic's game tonight so they're not blocking it atm. murray street
You get sport on wiziwig.tv . That is the main site I use, also freefootballstreaming.info, these are the two most reliable sites. I use the acestream links on wiziwig with the acestream program this gives me the top sky sports games in hd for free Also acestream comes with a plugin that lets you stream movies from torrent sites on firefox.
