He said it on the Radio 2 , yesterday , from an interview that had been recorded the previous night. He was quite adamant that there would be no coalition , which probably prompted Miliband to confirm the same , yesterday . .

There is no advantage to form a coalition with Labour , and as Salmond says , he has had plenty of experience working with a minority government , which , is something Red Ed , obviously doesn't have . .

Check it out. .

I can't find it, nor see it reported anywhere. You have the quote and/or link?

Salmond had plenty of experience of working in a minority government where he was propped up by Scottish Conservatives who supported bills and budgets to allow his government to function. Without the help of the Scottish Conservatives the SNP would have been absolutely hamstrung in their first term in government. He's got loads to thank Annabel Goldie for.

ETA where he said it. .

Erm, he says that the SNP could give support to a Labour government and that it COULD be in coalition although he thinks that's unlikely. Hardly ruling it out.

I was asking where he ruled out a coalition, not where he said it was unlikely. He rules out a coalition with the Tories - which is nice because he knows he would never get one anyway - but clearly doesn't rule out one with Labour.

Quote Salmond from your link ' We are not ruling it out but its unlikely '

Do you have the link or quote for him ruling it out? Or did he not actually say that?

Nothing to do with blind loyalty. As I said, Cockles doesn't just pull numbers out of thin air like you do, he has made an error here (and admitted it, you should take a lesson from him) and misread/misunderstood the article. His number (98%) was right, though.

The number 4 is right too - not in any relevant context, but the number exists. Is that what you mean?

Hate to be pedantic but the number 4, as with all numbers, are pure inventions of the human imagination.

Numbers were invented, just like names, to allow us to make sense of the world around us.

You need to be up on your maths and philosophy for that sort of debate and you suck at both.

Politicians are all lying bastards, it doesn't matter what they say just now it's what they do after the election that counts

Whilst I undoubtedly agree that no-one should trust the kind of power hungry SNP and Labour candidates that will be put in front of us during the General Election I can't agree with you that it doesn't matter what they say right now. Surely if they can't even get through the election campaign without their lies being found it, it destroys their credibility.

Nicola Sturgeon and John Swinney have both undermined the pre referendum claims that their party was making and the sad fact is that their little natsi followers - like Cockles and Saintnextlifetime on this page and the last - are taking their lead from their dictator and lying more than ever.

Geez, you are paranoid bud. Natsi, hmmm obviously don't know your politics well if your branding that about. Its politics, as in, its sparing, its putting out feelers, you know like Cameron get a boost in the polls cause he back Clarkson.

Also if you knew more about policies you would know that SNP = socialists and they hardly dictate but as they are mentioning helping poor, getting shot of missiles that make us here targets , distribution of wealth.

You live in Lochwinnoch yeah, ok I stay in Houston. How much has your property increased in last 5 years, 1%, 5% maybe 7%. Well after the last property collapse some propertys all over London and surrounding areas have increased 40/50%. Meaning again the south tail will wag the UK dog. This is not about independence its about fairness to all not just the chosen few. Scots don't vote Tory for a reason, they represent the ruling class, Engerland. So maybe before you cast a wee stone look at the London Glasshouse and the impact we all feel

That's cause its sense, a bit like your surname . You are a Dick son

Aye well that might well be, but I don't live in Lochwinnoch or Houston and I couldn't give a shite about how much house prices increase there in comparison with London. I'm long past the politics of envy and trust me whilst Londoners might well be more paper rich, they are living in tiny boxes far more overpriced than any house you can buy up here.

As for history and politics - take a wee bit of time to watch a few documentaries on H2 or something. You'll know that there isn't a great deal of difference between the 1930's National Socialist Party in Germany and the 2000's onward version of the Nationalist Socialists that we see in Scotland. As was the case in Germany the SNP's have been led but a jumped up authoritarian leadership. As was the case in Germany our Nationalist Socialists demonise a group of people as being the cause of all the problems in our country - in Germany it was the Jews, in Scotland it's the English. And similar to 1930's Germany our Scottish Natsi's encourage boycotts against any business who doesn't support the party agenda.

Oh aye, and similar to the situation in Germany in the 1930's the SNP like to kid on they are following a Socialist agenda, but in reality they are the only party in Scotland proposing to cut Corporation Tax, the only party in Scotland who decided to give £multi millionaires free prescriptions, and the only party in Scotland who proposed and then put into law Land Reform laws that meant £millionaires could snap up national assets for 1p.
