nosferatu
Stuart Dickson seems to be the one talking sense on this thread. Of course Kenny would have been a better appointment than Murray. Billy Reid would have been even better. I forsee 2 years of stagnation with Murray being replaced at the end of it.

I forsee this forum going through two years of stagnation due to your reeking patter. I liked you better back in the CSX days.
djchapsticks
Resigned - not sacked. He walked away without compensation. http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/football/teams/d/dunfermline_athletic/7127417.stm Lies on top of lies. 'Contract terminated' clearly isn't a resignation. Would you like to know the run of results which saw this Alex Ferguson type manager you're campaigning for get his jotters?! Played 14, won 2, drew 4, lost 8. In those 8 defeats included successive 5-0 and 4-0 houndings by Hamilton and Livingston which sandwiched a 3-0 doing by Stirling Albion. I also find it particularly amusing that in your defence of this guy, you state that Sir Alex Ferguson himself would have struggled to stop Dunfermline imploding. Yet Kenny's replacement, Jim McIntyre managed to not only do so instantly - rattling out 14 points in his first six games, four more than Kenny Managed in 14 - but kept them up comfortably and then got them promoted again within a couple of seasons. Stuart Dickson
^^^^^^ A laughing stock, wonder what hilarious username you'll come up with next. I'd suggest "St Mirren" since they are far more likely to be a laughing stock over the next couple of seasons
