Drew
Jon Daly and Paul Heffernan both available as free agents. Would take either of them any day. We need an experiences centre forward to take the weight off thommo and both fit the bill IMO Heffernan couldn't secure a gig after at least one trial with a lower league club. When was he last performing even close to the level he did with Kilmarnock during the earlier period of his time with them? Not sure about Daly. He hardly set the heather alight with the new club. Injuries?

Heffernan has already been punted on trial by both QotS & another championship club.
barney
bring back cheesy. Might actually be alright at this level theres a definite lack of imagination amongst some of our fans!
Big Yards
No thanks. Both well past it. Heffernan has already been punted on trial by both QotS & another championship club. We'll see. Daly is training with Dundee utd. They obviously don't think he's past it.
DougJamie
The test and the potential gaps will show in our next 2 games, against , on paper, inferior opposition. Our shape 2nd half against Sevco was far better With pace coming from McMullan and mallan. IMO we need a striker similar to Thommo. At this level 4-4-1-1 is a good formula. As we are not blessed with pace will be our answer but Thommo is an option this year not the solution that diddy craig said he was
Stuart Dickson
I haven't bothered reading anyone elses posts. The answer to the original question is really simple - what St Mirren still need is a winning football team. On this day three years ago St Mirren were top of the SPL - 2 games played, 4 points in the bag. That season St Mirren went on to win the League Cup. Since then the clubs board have done nothing but make poor decisions.
