FS
I'm just hearing this news coming through tonight, and although cannot confirm at time of writing, I believe it to be reliable. Another Saints legend gone, I hope the club produces a fitting tribute. RIP Tommy...

Kendo
My late Dad used to tell me all about him and what a tremendous player he was for us. I foggily recall him being appointed player manager for us when I was a lad but it didn't work out. RIP

bigjerseybuddie
He used to run the newsagent at the top of Copland road when I was a youngster and I remember him talking very humbly about his playing days. He never bragged about his achievements and I always enjoyed his stories. I'm so sorry to hear of his death. A true St Mirren legend, may he rest in peace and may his Family be given the strength to endure their loss.

class of 76-77
Sad news, Tommy along with David Lapsley were my late fathers two favourite Saints players. My father said that Tommy was probably the only player ever to nutmeg the late Jim Baxter twice in the one game. RIP legend.

Balmullo Bud
Sad news, Tommy along with David Lapsley were my late fathers two favourite Saints players. My father said that Tommy was probably the only player ever to nutmeg the late Jim Baxter twice in the one game. RIP legend. Sounds exactly the same as my old man. Tommy Bryceland is always the first player he brings up when reminiscing about past Saints players. Always a buzz around the ground when he got on the ball. Skilful, clever and played with a real swagger, according to my dad. Sad news for all Saints and Norwich fans.
shull
A lot of great players in that Team along with legend Tommy. Drew
Obviously before my time as a Saints supporter, but clearly a club legend, and, as such, I am sorry to hear of his death, and offer my condolences to his family and friends.
