Rangers To Be Given South Stand

Recommended Posts

Dear Season Ticket Holder

St Mirren V Rangers, Saturday 20th April 2016

Due to the unprecedented demand for ticket requests from Rangers Football Club for the last game of the season on 30th April at Paisley 2021 Stadium, we have decided after careful consideration and consultation with Police Scotland, to allocate Rangers fans full access to the South Stand.

In order to accommodate this decision we would like to ask all our season ticket holders within the South Stand to contact the Ticket Office, where we will allocate you an alternative seat for the game.

Requests for alternative seating must be made to the Ticket Office staff by 20th April 2016.

We appreciate that this may cause some inconvenience but would appreciate your co-operation and we thank you for your continued support.

Yours sincerely

The Board

Why the big demand ?

Should be a non story.

League will have been won long before that.

We are a Family Club, so we will not be closing the Family Stand to accomodate sectarian bigots.

Maybe 'The Board' would like to sit in the West Stand and experience what it's like to have your club's ground taken over by some of the most vile individuals you'll never want to meet? Openly flouting every stadium rule they can, while we'll be stewarded and policed in a far stricter way.

Money rules though, and anyone with the slightest idea that fans actually matter, other than as a steady revenue stream, must be deluded.

The fact two dates are on an official club release confirms we are a diddy club run by amateurs.

Can no one read/check these before they are released to stop the club looking like Muppets?

Agreed must just be blinded by the money.

Think they will refund the ticket price to fans that don't want to move

Surely the 20th is only the cut off date for guaranteeing a seat elsewhere on the 30th if you are an season ticket holder affected?

Just checking my calendar, but no, still over two weeks until 1st April.

What is there left to say? This club is an embarrassment, giving over its family stand to the most objectionable and offensive away support in the country.

ETA - thank f**k I gave up my ST years ago.
