Cove Rangers to host second round draw

Friday, 23 September 2016

The William Hill Scottish Cup second round draw will take place at Aberdeen Altens Hotel, hosted by Cove Rangers on Monday, 26th September at 6pm, following the first-round fixtures which will take place over the weekend.

The draw will be made by Alan Strachan who is the chairperson of the Nigg Community Council.

Alan Strachan has been an instrumental figure in helping his local club Cove Rangers with the planning and development of their new stadium.

Cove Rangers enter the competition in the second round after winning last season’s Highland Football League.

Strachan will be joined by the Scottish FA President, Alan McRae, and a representative from the competition sponsors William Hill.
