magnus
Nice article on John Lambie in today's Herald. John is reminiscing about the madmen that he managed and got the best out of. Chic Charnely obviously but he also mentions the talented but betting mad Paul Kinnaird. Havent heard that name for ages. I remember Paul Kinnaird being absolutely brilliant on his day for Saints. BuddieinEK
PK was a joy to watch... Once in a while... and frustrated the hell out of you at all other times.A kind of Charnley lite!
Ayrshire Saints
Remember well PK being sent off in a midweek league cup tie at Brechin. He disappeared up the tunnel and reappeared moments later wearing nowt but a towel round his waste and proceeded to watch the match (now in et) from the side of the park in his state of undress, unchecked by the ref. A grade 1 lunatic who occasionally morphed into a footballer !
