Former Saint, Eric has passed away.

Played between 1968 and 1971.

Was in the first St Mirren Team I ever seen.

Played many years for Kilmarnock also.

This was the first St Mirren Team I saw as a child Still bump into Andy McFadden every now and then. Jim Blair was my first ever hero.

Loved them all, although Fulton was my first hero.

Was astounded and amazed watching Willie do keepy uppies during the warm up, especially when he used to catch the ball in the back of his neck.

Great memories

Remember all of these players - 68/69 maybe  - can anyone put a date on it ?

Surprised Bobby Adamson not in the photo

Maybe injured for that particular match.

When I played fitba then, I was Adamson with hair. :)

We are wearing our change strip, so it could have been a home match v Celtic or Dunfermline or Killie or Ayr, etc

15th of Feb 1969 , a 2-1 home defeat by Airdrie , Bobby Pinkerton scored direct from a corner. This was the first in a run of 7 straight defeats , taking us from 2nd place in the league to 11th , just prior to this game we had a run of 5 straight wins  !
