Bart Simpson
I think this photo is the reason why I found the move less of a negative thing than others. This is how I remember Love Street best, but the PDE update for the SPL meant a big change prior to the move. There were still lots of great memories afterwards but wasn’t ever exactly the same (when it was dry that is).

whydowebother
Another great servant for St Mirren. Indeed he was.We have been blessed with some really good players back then. The younger guys possibly won’t recognise players like Munro,Scanlon,Weir,Stark,McGarvey,McAvennie,Copland,Reid,Richardson,Abercromby,Beckett,Bone ........ etc etc , no excuse for not knowing Fitzpatrick [emoji4]

That’s my taxi driving mate Les from Jersey. He done it up over here, him and his 3 boys took it over on the overnight ferry from Jersey to Portsmouth and drove it up to Paisley. Hes got loads of photos from the trip, and he was getting some reaction driving up the M6 North. He only paid £400 for the old banger ( No MOT’s in Jersey ) think he tried to auction it off for charity after the game, I believe there was no takers so he scrapped it and flew back to Jersey Edited February 6, 2018 by Jimmy H

Took part in the one on the day George Best played for Hibs against us. Was that his debut? Looked decidely fat. Still had the brain and the skill though.
