Geordie Saint Posted March 30, 2018 Report Share Posted March 30, 2018 The last pic is pretty much how I remember Love st looking when i started coming up in the mid 80s. Loved those floodlights. They provided my 1st glimpse of the place when I caught sight of them from the M8 heading for BOW for my 1st ever stay in Scotland. Used to love them coming into view as the train approached Gilmour Street each time I returned, and the sight of them when lit as the ground appeared when you turned the corner after cosmos chippy, coupled with the sound of tannoy music/announcements is still fresh in the memory. Still miss Love Street but the lads/lasses in W7 are doing a great job in helping to provide a great atmosphere in our new home. Long may that and the feel good factor continue.
