Got mixed feelings on this one if I'm honest.

One part of me is disappointed as think this may be the first of many making the move.

The other part hopes they go and do well and move up the divisions and shut people like lovestreet up.

Apparently the ADL and Central are joining up next season

4 leagues of 16 and doing away with some cups

Good or bad thing?

Personally think it is a good thing.

AFAIK it will just be the Sectional Cups being done away with as that is what they did in East Region.

The big clubs now just use this cup as glorified friendlies anyway.

Still has to be passed at AGM.

Every club has a vote.

Not sure how lower division teams feel about it as could mean a lot extra travelling.

Got one ordered in memory of my dad.

He joined the committee in 1972 when the club was struggling and was on it till 1983 when he began working away from home.

Sadly he passed away in 1994 having not seen us lift the holy grail.

A fitting memory of a good man who I am proud to call my dad.

Eta he was a bricklayer so am sure he would be happy with a brick with his name on it.

Newtongrange Star & St Andrews have earned relegation reprieves from the East Region after Kelty's departure to East of Scotland League. Star stay in Superleague & Saints stay in Premier next season.

Spoke to my Renfrew "mole" who confirmed there are some disappointing things going on which could certainly damage the playing side.

This would be a shame after consolidating their position last season they had hoped to attract better players to give them a crack at getting into the top league next season.

:(
