New league set up was passed at AGM to start from 2018/19.

Four divisions of 16 teams all in meaning Ayrshire and Central fully amalgamated.

Not sure exactly how they are doing it but heard that it will be 2 teams down from top division and 6 promoted from first division.

Would give the Frew a good chance if they get their act togethet.

With so many league games isn't this going to put extra strain on players/squads?

When will the league start and end?

He must be fed up with the travelling him being a Johnstone boy

Still should be senior

Think that is the issue tbh.

Our main striker Kenny McLean is out till Christmas which makes it an even better signing.

Unfortunately for Kenny it means he can't play in his own testimonial match on the 10th July.

Lots of to-ings and fro-ings from Newlandsfield.

Some I'm sorry to see go but there are some experienced and exciting players going to be wearing the black and white this coming season.

(Also see the Lie have signed at least 3 from the Lok so that will boost our quiet neighbours :P)

MON THE LOK!!

Was down at Bellsdale yesterday to pay for my brick and was very impressed at how good the park was looking.

First friendly tomorrow against BSC Glasgow which is being played on the artificial park next to Bellsdale.

Apparently park is still to be verti drained (whatever that means!!).

Hence playing it next door.

First game at Bellsdale will be Kenny McLean's testimonial on Saturday.

There's to be another meeting in 2 weeks to elect a new committee.

Only "full members" can be on the new committee, seemingly the current committee aren't all in this bracket, whatever a "full member" means.

2 weeks seems a long time and could hinder any progress on signing players, whether this is resigning players or trying to attract new players.

Normal service resumed at Renfrew.

Original committee, bar one, are back in control and all systems are go.

Hope this shambles hasn't damaged their chances this season.

See your profile pic mate.....are you the tall or short guy?

Neither mate. On the right is our match secretary Robert McCarter and on the left is Clem Plott who was our treasurer for 35 years.

Sadly we lost Clem earlier this year but at least he saw us win the big one.
