Nile wrote in his autobiography they were the most unlikely would be pop stars he had ever met so refused to write songs for them. The boss at Atlantic made a deal with Nile to write them songs it even went down to Chic musicians to play the instraments on the sister recordings. Nile Rogers also had to pull the Chic musicians .when producing Lets Dance album for David Bowie. Good book Rodgers autobiography who produced many artisits biggest selling albums.
