No mate, its like most people who don't want to have to make a decision or give a Fk, its called burying your head in the sand

Lucky for them they are in the vast majority, so its also safety in numbers...... They can also attack in numbers, cause they are not very brave

They also tend to watch TOWIE and get emotional, and think Jeremy Kyle would make a good PM......

And finally they also don't care about future generations and our selfish fkwits, which again is the norm......

Of course that may not apply to anyone on here:whistle

What is TOWIE and what does it have to do with the general election?

Ffs , there is plenty of that goes on in the Forum but if some guys dont want to know the truth and believe everything the mainstream media spoon feed them then that is their responsibility . However ,although they may be against your viewpoint , they are still Buddies , especially now that most of the non-Saint Mirren FC fans have , gone. .

That's fine sun will rise and set, and you don't need to do anything but breathe,

You would make a great Daffodil :D However they are only above ground 2 months a year, you should try that to

You calling someone else a 'peanut brain' is the height of irony!

You're almost as stupid as premium bond boy.

I always thought that they should give it to me.

I would keep the first week for myself, split the second week between family, split the third week between workmates, split the fourth week between all my fellow forum members (even faraway but excluding shull, he gets enough in tips) and then all subsequent weeks to go to SMFC. See, life's easy when you have money. :)

Do you think the government would raise the cash by selling premium bonds?

Utterly irrelevant!

The fact that you were able to sleep in for a couple of hours does not mean that banks, multinationals and the rich don't have a huge effect on the way the world is run. If you don't understand that you must be living in a parallel universe.

It's about degrees. Yes. The establishment have a lot of control but, if everybody thought like you, nobody would bother to try to change it. This would allow them even greater control and would allow them to manipulate and abuse the power they wield to an even greater extent. It's about taking some of that power back. It's about getting the people in place who don't cowtie to the banks and multinationals but require them to adhere to a law that refuses to allow excessive exploitation. we can never be rid of the greedy but we can make sure they give a little back.

Trickle down politics which simply hopes that the richer you allow some to get, the more they will use that wealth to create for ordinary people does not work. If it did there would not be people starving in a country reputed to be so rich. There would be no need for foodbanks which largely survive due to the generosity of "non rich" people.

We need to take some back from those who have benefited from the imbalance of our society because, ultimately, they have made their money off the backs of ordinary folk. This is not jealousy or envy. It's merely recognising that there is a moral obligation to give back when you've made so much from using others.

I would say that is the basis for a fairer society. Not Socialism. Social conscience.

I think with your eh- "political" viewpoints and what u classify as FACTs ur exactly the kind of voter that should be barred...

Your glorious May, is going to allow us off work to care, and for free, also we can rip foxes apart in our spare time.... Solid Policies for a Great Britain- You must be proud

If you truly profess to be a Conservative then maybe you can buck the trend and stop being a complete prick....

However as your a fellow Saints fan, you must have some part of your brain that works

I am saying that they don't control my life to a degree which really bothers me in any way.

What exactly should I be concerned about that affects my day to day life or my business?

You know, that's a typical reaction in this fked up world..... which is fine, its the norm. Human race has managed to con itself since it stood upright

But see when the wee helmets are given out once the polar bears are doing back strokes in the Caribbean , it wont be me or you but Trump, Putin , May that will be in deep bunkers, planning how they can still control a planet we rent

Once all parties, stop telling us that we are rich but actually rich mean being 1.8 Trill in debt, is actually rich, and we need to cut, however we can find £250 B for the banks, 120 B for Trident, cut back on Armed Forces and replace them with a wee missile that doesn't even work, one ship patrols the whole of Scotlands shores, no monies for disabled, NHS, Education, oh and now we can take a year off, not get paid anything, and look after loved ones, oh and soon to be able to hunt foxes---- Marvellous...

So the next time u go into your bank, who don't actually have any monies, as money is in fact debt, its created from debt after all, just ask them why, with their debted bill of sales, why they charge interest?

Of course you wont, as we are all conditioned to what is norm

However I would have hoped that St Mirren supporters had the ability to think outside the box, obviously that's a No....

Next one will be that its all in Gods hands----- Superb

So pop down put your wee X in the box, and then wonder why the new boss is the same as the old boss...

I am not about to defend spending money on nuclear weapons but the alternative to bailing out the banks doesn't bear thinking about IMO.

The armed forces, I literally could not care less about but that is a personal thing. I would prefer to have no army at all and in that way we can never be tempted to invade another country. That would be a good thing IMO. Our armed forces have almost never been called upon for purely defence reasons. We have historically always been aggressors.

No money for the disabled, the NHS and education? Do you actually believe you are going to persuade any of us that this nonsense is true? If not, why write it?

If you don't want banks to charge interest then manage your personal finances properly and don't spend what you don't have.

You really need to get off the internet, get outside and make some changes to your life bud because I'm getting depressed just reading your post.

Right. I need some chocolate after trawling through that bleakfest.

Bud, I have no idea what you are on about here but my life is pretty decent thanks.

There are people in the world who could certainly comment on my intellect but you are not one of them.

What employers have given is jobs to thos who don't want to hassle of having to create a business for themselves.

Those same employers are expected to pay your salary, deal with your tax, national insurance and pensions, cover your sicknesses and holidays, keep your job open when you decide to have kids, and inexplicably pay into your personal persion scheme amongst many other things. They have to do this before the business owner takes a penny for themselves.

That would be another way of looking at it.

Personally I have never understood why more people simply don't fend for themselves instead of relying on others to provide them with a job. We have become a nation of overly dependent adults with entitlement complexes IMO.

If anyone out there finds employment so stressful, if you find employers to be bastards, simply get out there and do your own thing and stop complaining.

Right now you can lose your job if you take time off to look after your sick relative.

Now that won't happen. By ANY standard, this is an improvement.

But because the new law isn't perfect you are still not happy.

Stop whining FFS.

The SNP vote crumbled at the council elections and the votes they lost went to the Tories.

That is a FACT.

Get over it nationalist extremists.

C'mon the Tories! Let's stop the hard Scexit planned by the E-Unionist extremists!

Enough about yourself. What about oaksoft?

Don't be so harsh on yourself.

Yep.

"The SNP vote crumbled at the council elections and the votes they lost went to the Tories.
That is a FACT."

The SNP's share of the vote was unchanged from 2012,

Any gains the Tories made were at the expense of the Labour party. And let's be honest. There wasn't much left after their wipeout previously so the Tories got the dregs.

Those employers pay a salary to use people. That's the very meaning of the word "employ" and there are plenty who pay so little that the state has to augment the wages and foodbanks are still required. They make far more and the biggest employers use the loopholes in our systems to pay very little towards those supplementary payments. I hardly consider banks as institutions who employ masses of people considering their revenue. It seems the Tories are happy to ride roughshod over ordinary folk. Happy to ride to the rescue when Banks put themselves in the sh!t. Happy to put our economy at risk by removing vast areas of trade to save themselves. Happy to ensure our nurses are paid so little they need help to actually eat and heat. Happy to see larger employers cheat on their taxes and call it, at worst, tax avoidance. Or, legalised theft, as I prefer to call it.

Nobody is branding ALL employers as Scrooges demanding Cratchit put all the books in alphabetical order, clean away the cobwebs, polish the floor and wash the windows before they light the candle, but there are many who abuse a system open to said abuse. I am NOT a labour supporter but, one thing is for sure. The laws need to protect the many, not the few. A government open to creating a climate where people can start a business, can run a business and can make a good living while ensuring there is no abuse of the system or the people they employ is not beyond the realms of possibility. Tighter laws and rules only frighten those who want to continue to undervalue those who actually make their money for them. Greed is not necessarily good.

Sorry bud but I just don't get this victim mentality at all and I am genuinely unsure how to respond to it other than to repeat my suggestion for how to get around these types of employers. Don't work for them and take responsibility for creating your own job. Nobody owes you a living.

I agree that greed is not necessarily good but neither is dependency on others for a job and an entitlement complex.

Nobody is stopping you run your own business so get out there and do it if the alternative is as bad as you are making out.
