Genuinely feel for them. Shite way for the dream to end after an outstanding season.

Fell apart, only won 1 game in the last 10 league games and that was on the 18th March.

No surprise as United aren't great they are shite.

Whatever happened it was a disaster, Greenock Crumble?

Aye, that makes it worse. Bottles crashed.

Reluctant to compare it to our end to the season, but....

I'm actually happy that Morton FC have crashed and burned, and the derbies remain for next season. However, when you see a photo like that large number of 'Ton fans who travelled up there on a Friday, in hope, and like us, don't go to Ibrox or Parkhead like many of their fellow townsfolk... then I genuinely feel for them and can empathise with the kick in the haw-maws they received, followed by a long and depressing drive home from Dundee. We've all been there, been in the same boat, as recently as the 2-3 loss a few weeks ago... but still, nothing like the journey home from Dens after the cup semi final replay 'ball through Billy's legs' loss to Aberdeen. I will never forget the rain, being soaked sitting on bench seats, watching that loss then going home on the bus with the rain soaked right through my jacket, through my shirt, and approaching the haw-maws zone... horrible.

Having said that. Morton... FFS. The arse has fallen out their season so badly, they'll need a completely new arse for next season.

Indeed was a horrible night home on the Bus from Dens Park.

Absolute bliss and manic celebration was the journey home on the Junior Supporters Bus from Dens Park on the 19th April 1977.

My undergarments needed a boil wash after last Saturday so very glad we aren't doing it again.

Amen to that. Looking forward with renewed enthusiasm for next season, but glad this one was finally put to bed with no need for playoff games.
