Hunting Hitler

The programme finds a tunnel leading from the bunker in Berlin straight into a railway station where a track leads to the airport of 1945. From there it follows leads to spain then onto Gran Canaria where they reckon he stopped off showing the building and a tunnel net work. From there onto Argentina the whole thing leaves you open minded . Still even if Hitler did not escape what was going on in South America is eye opening , fascinating stuff the trouble and what was built by feeling Nazies in south America is something else. It was not a group planing just hiding they were planing a comeback in style.

Germany gets to be the controlling state in Europe under Merkel , comeback complete , not a single bullet fired this time. .

Watching the new series on the History channel which is mind blowing if you are interested in that part of history this programme is unmissable. Martin Bormann    the places he lived. A Nazi milatry base and more much more.

Could only manage one episode of this. It took 45 minutes to tell you what you could have learned in a normal 10 minute section - repeating and recapping everything every ten minutes. Found it interesting, but couldn't take the American dumbed-down style of documentary.

I hate (most) American documentaries.  At the start they give you the main points about what they are going to tell you, tell you a wee bit of detail then tell you what they are going to tell you after the break.  After a break, they repeat what they told you in the previous part, tell you another wee bit of detail and then tell you what will be coming up after the next break or in the next episode in the series.  As you said, ten minutes of info (if you're lucky) in a 45 minute show.

That is exactly it. Like telling stories to nursery kids.

He died in Berlin. Hitler's dentist was captured after the war by the Americans. Two of his dental techs were captured by the Russians. Each independently reconstructed the details of Hitler's dental work from memory. Their reconstructions meshed completely, and they fit with the details of the dental work on the jaw fragments attributed to Hitler AND to the skull X-rays taken of him by his doctor after the July 20 bomb attempt. Bottom line, there is solid forensic proof beyond a reasonable doubt that Hitler died in Berlin.
