With season tickets going on sale tomorrow, car park season tickets will also be on sale from Wednesday 17th May.

People who already have a car park pass for Season 2016-17 will have until 2nd July to renew their pass, after this time any remaining passes will be sold on a first come first served basis.

The cost of the car park pass, which covers all games in season 2017-18, will be £60.

The Club have donated 10 free passes to the St Mirren Disabled Supporters Association for use amongst their members.

This season there were 23 home games. At £60 for the season, that's £2.60 a game to park your car safely, with a 20-30 second walk to and from the stadium on pishing wet or freezing cold days.

Struggling to think what there is to complain about.

Nobody should have anything to complain about anyway, regarding the Car Park Passes.

I can think of several reasons why folk might complain about the car park facility. The cost isn't one of them. £60 for a season is still a fair price if you're a regular, and if you aren't a regular, why would you pay £60 for a season-long pass in the first place.

Not complaining as to do so would see one brow beaten severely.

However it would be pertinent to point out that inflation is currently running at 2.7% (according to an article I read on reuters yesterday).  So with the price of said parking pass at £50 last year, the price should be £51.35.  A price increase of 20% does seem somewhat excessive indeed.

Have the wages of the car park attendants increased by 20%?  Has the income of the average football fan increased by 20%?  In what way is such a dramatic price hike justified?

Some season-long matchday car parking passes are still available for the St Mirren Car Park at a cost of £60 which covers all first team home matches (including cup and friendly matches).

The car park offers secure car parking behind the West Stand on matchdays. If anyone wishes to purchase the seasonal pass they should contact the stadium reception on (0141) 889-2558.

We also offer parking on a match-by-match basis at a cost of £5 per match. These passes will be available on a first come first served basis (subject to availability). The passes can be purchased at the entrance to the Black/White car park on matchdays.

If by any chance the ball goes over the West stand and bounces off your bonnet who is responsible for fixing the ding ? Only take the car the odd game.
