Gutted I won't be staying around. But that's football. St Mirren will always be in my heart and I wish the club the best .

It would be good to see the calendar year of 2017 vs the best ever calendar year in terms of results.

Surely this must be up there if not the best ever year results wise?

Season 70/71 we were unbeaten after 6 games.

We ended up being relegated.

I think we've lost 5 league games since the turn of the year.

You want cheery?

We were unbeaten against the old firm,as they used to be called,at Love St that season.0-0 against the cream and 2-2 v the jungles.

Prefer season 77/78 when we were unbeaten against the Jungles in 4 games. 2 wins at Parkheid and a win and a draw at Love Street. Even the draw we were 3-1 up with 10 mins to go.

Seems totally unthinkable now. Those were the days.

Well played yesterday Mr Samson.
Quick off his line, full of instructions to a defence that hadn't played together and even came for some crosses.
Now, if he would just take a touch with a pass back...

I watched MOTD & Sportscene last night. The keepers in Engerlund regularly take a touch or ten and very seldom come under pressure (unless Jamie vardey is about) while up here there is usually someone closing them down and most of them lump it up the park  as quickly as they can .

He played very well yesterday.

Apart from his monumental blunders  at their goal.

Firstly at the missing of the cross ball.

Then the hilarious dive trying to stop the ball from the header.

Dinnae matter really, as we are scoring hunners up the other end against Goalies who are actually worse than Sammy.

The only reason they managed the draw was because we played most the game with ten men as big JC got sent off . Thought we too some support for the first game at Parkhead where big Starsky scored the winner
