St Mirren are delighted to announce that Alex Smith and Jimmy Bone are set to be inducted into the club's official Hall of Fame.

Smith became Saints manager in December 1986 and led the club, alongside his assistant Bone, to Scottish Cup glory - defeating Dundee United 1-0 win in the 1987 final.

Bone, who played for Saints between 1978 and 1982, also had a spell as manager when he replaced David Hay in 1992.

They join 2013 League Cup winning captain Jim Goodwin and League Cup winning manager Danny Lennon in being inducted at the club's 140th Anniversary Dinner.

The Gala Black Tie Dinner takes place at the Normandy Hotel in Renfrew on Friday October 6th.

Along with the Hall of Fame inductions we will also have a fantastic line up of speakers to entertain you on the night.

Prepare to laugh the night away thanks to former Lawyer & Grade 1 referee, Willie Young with his stories from the world of refereeing and Eric Davidson who is recognised as one of Scotland's finest After Dinner Speakers, Comedians and Speech Writers and regular on the Edinburgh Fringe.

Keeping everything in order on the night will be well known Saints’ fan and journalist Bill Leckie.

The evening will consist of:

* Drinks Reception

* Three Course Meal

* Guest After Dinner Speakers

* Hall of Fame Awards

* Prize Raffle

* Grand Auction

Individual places are available at £75 + VAT per person, with a minimum of two places on a shared table basis. Tables are available in multiples of TEN at £750 + VAT or TWELVE at £900 + VAT.
