Don't forget the penalties he conceded too (and the couple of bookings). But he did score 3 goals as well. Don't get me wrong I would pick him if fit in a heart beat and glad we signed him. If you compare that to games without him playing. I think we had one shut out in 20 games at the start of the season. He was a level above anyone else we had at CB, including Mack. So the moral of the story is that with or without Harry Davis, there's nae guarantee of a clean sheet.

No i think thats Murals have no place on this thread, jeez there on every other semi flat surface these days around town. Have we slipped back through a time portal to late 70's Belfast? dardo
I believe that the moral of the story is that there is no moral of the story. It's just a bunch of stuff that happened.

The moral of the story is that Harry Davis is likely going to be the best CB we have for this season. That was the only point I was making to the person breaking down his stats. I would be delighted but very surprised if we got a clean sheet on Saturday.

You could well be right - He is good - but the value for money and results of what each player contributes will depend on ability and what each player produces over the season; number of games, both defensively and offensively etc. Delighted that he will be back soon, but equally looking forward to Magennis and the others making competition for the jerseys in a winning team something worth the fight, and for the pleasure of fans and all who work within the organisation. saintargyll
The good news is that its still only August so plenty of time to get the best out of our returning players
Tommy
On the subject of club signing players while injured, I see Ibrahimovic is resigning for Man U on a 1year deal even though he won't be fit till the end of the year

pozbaird
Having a star like Zlatan re-sign sells an extra zillion new Adidas Man Utd shirts in Asia, South America and, erm, Surrey. Wonder if their badges fall off.

rabuddies
Sorry. It was a bit tongue in cheek but I think Hardie played a few U21 games for the blue bigots while out on loan.

bazil85
Have to say we could really be a big force when some of the other players are back. They'd struggle to break into a number of positions currently and the extra competition will hopefully spur us on further. COYS

Eric Arthur Blair
Really? I thought it was a normal season long loan rather than a developmental loan. Correct. Also, apart from anything else, he played against EK so would have been cup-tied.
