Hurricane Season

Could be the jury is out on the cause, apart from normal conditions in this area of the world.....................however, could be the time to sell a holiday home in the Caribbean.

Is it global warming’s fault?

Scientists take weeks or months to conduct intricate studies, using computer simulations, to see if a storm was worsened by man-made climate change. There have been a limited number of hurricanes since record-keeping began in 1851, which makes it difficult to do robust statistical analyses. However, scientists have long said future global warming would make some of the worst storms stronger and wetter and recently have linked climate change to future rapid intensification of storms. There’s been scientific debate over whether global warming means more storms, but the stronger and wetter is generally accepted by scientists.

Maybe the Hurricanes are ' man made ' just to dupe the Masses into believing that Climate Change is ' man made '.
And we all know what the Masses are.
Don't we ?

Everyone knows these storms and floods are gods way of punishing people for embracing homosexuality.
If only Texas and the Caribbean were less tolerant of gays...

Conversely, if drought ridden parts of Africa allowed gay marriage...

Currently another massive hurricane, Irma, destroying anything in it's path.
Already another two queuing up behind it.
Living in the Caribbean has it's drawbacks.

We're due to get part of it on Monday - nowhere near as bad, heavy rain and winds forecast around 50 mph. The last time they had a bad one here similar winds were forecast but when it came the winds were around 110 mph. Fingers crossed it doesn't come to much but slightly worrying nevertheless

One of my mates was meant to be going on holiday to Cuba tomorrow.Thomas Cook cancelled their flights yesterday and he's now waiting to see what replacement holiday will be offered.

Well here's hoping its not Argyll as the weather is fecking depressing here, admitting that at least buildings don't fly overhead..................
