Wilfully driving after drinking and being technically over the limit the following day are two seperate sets of circumstances. Yes I know the law sees it differently.


I get where you're coming from, FS, but there's no excuse - you can buy a breathaliser for a tenner and check yourself if you're in any doubt.

I'm not making excuses, simply enquiring as to the particulars of this case. The stats for 'morning after' cases are apparently alarming, and seemingly gone through the roof since the modified legal limit was applied in this country. If O'Neill has as appears purposefully driven his car immiediately after drinking to excess of limit then throw the book at him.
