shull
The original Supporters Buses are sold out this week and the way we are playing, they will be full for most away matches. We need a new Bus. What about the Club running a Bus or Buses , if need be , from the Stadium , based from the 1877 Club ? Even for this Saturday, they could easily fill at least 2 Coaches. Bookings and payment could be taken Online via the Official Website . A few Buses could be provisionally booked and maybe bookings could cease late on Friday or Saturday mornings. THE 1877 CLUB COULD ALSO BE OPEN FOR , MAYBE 2 HOURS BEFORE BUS LEAVES. Also, maybe the other Supporters Clubs could join in the ONLINE BOOKING SYSTEM. chalky1
Good idea, but I've had nothing but problems trying to buy tickets online via the website, simply pay on the bus

We have our own E Store, set up by Div which is operating with no problems. Better to take payment in case folk book seats willy nilly then don't turn up. It also helps the team with a bigger away support.
Doakes
Great idea Shull, loads of folk looking for seats for Saturday on twitter with nae luck since usual supporters clubs ain't running extras (not blaming them, they want to enjoy their day without all the stress) Perhaps contact the SLO with this idea? Ronnie
They ran 2 buses from the stadium for Easter Road last season. This really isn't on the same scale it's only the 6th game of the season if we keep playing like this we will have the same issues for the other big away games ie (United, Falkirk & Morton). Just wait until it's Dumbarton away with the limited away capacity & the non season ticket holders shouldn't be allowed tickets bandwagon starts. If the demand is there, we should be running enough buses to cover it. Folk will still get there on public transport, but a bit crap if we can't run enough buses for everyone that would like to travel on one
shull
A new Supporters Bus from the 1877 Club would be like the modern day equivalent to the Knox Street Bus. And what a great Bus that was. Travelled on it the early 1980's.
Callum Gilhooley
Would love to see us return to the days of mutiple buses from various locations around the town. However , these buses dont run on their own and need proactive people to organise and ensure they are run properly. Anyone out there want to take up the challenge ? munoz
It's really pleasing to now see a demand for seats on the official supporters buses. Before February of this year the buses were struggling, and had to share a bus on a good few occasions . Long may it continue.

Everybody wants seats now. lose 2 or 3 games and these same people will disappear. Bus convenors are right not to run 2nd buses. it's a pity but it is a lot of work finding members who want to do it cos they want to enjoy their day hassle free. but I hope a lot of fans get there and support the Saints. Surely it is an opportunity for Clubs to make money to cover days when there is no demand, like last Jan/Feb?
Tommy
Surely it is an opportunity for Clubs to make money to cover days when there is no demand, like last Jan/Feb? Problem can be the 2nd bus is fill of strangers and you don't know how they are going to behave. The guys that run the buses have a thankless task and a 2nd bus is maybe just not worth the hassle. Being a former convenor i know how hard it is running one let alone 2. But if people think it's easy I don't understand why you don't run your own bus. if there's enough punters. it's cos there happy for someone else to have all the hassle.
