Heard talk at the 20’s game on Tuesday that we have a closed doors game against Celtic today. Don’t know if true or not.

Club decided against playing Davies v Ross County, but there was a bounce game yesterday according to the PDE.

McKenzie has started running on the treadmill again with no reaction . JR hopes he'll start training on grass next week at some point.

Our 2 defeats in the league were on away games - none at home and yes we have played less away games..

These tables are not biased though I do take your point that we have played less away games so far - However the facts from all the league games and the current form in the last 6 matches are what makes up these factual statistics..

So we are low down in defending  7th.. clearly an area to tackle (pardon the pun) for improvement..

8th on away form though beating Dumbarton could move us up as high as 3rd.. if we lose we will stay near the bottom..

What a step up in the stats from the 1st quarter - We are now joint 2nd best defensively... and 1 point off top spot for away points amassed (having played 1 game less away than QOS

We really are defending better - Davis definitely an influence, Baird doing great (apart from 1 split against the ton - and it is difficult to always get everything right) But the midfield have defended better too...

Really hope we get 2 superb additions to this championship winning squad......

There's little doubt that to win the division we will need to defend better but there's also little doubt, in my mind anyway, that when Davis, MacKenzie and Magennis are fit again then we'll be a much better side both offensively and defensively.

We've ridden our luck a wee bit so far this season but to be sitting top of the pile despite a fairly horrendous run of injuries is great testament to the management and the players.

Agree. Good to see Gary Irvine get on.
