Great day out yesterday. The support was amazing and the team responded with a great victory. Good to catch up with some other far travelled buddies from Orkney and North Berwick. Still in Inverness going for a couple of beers before flying back to Shetland this afternoon. Also had a bit of money on a St Mirren, Morton and a draw between Hearts/Ross County so £300 to the good. Happy days[emoji3]

CHICKO'S BAD DAY

According  to Chicko yesterday ...

1 An ICT player was booked for a foul on L Smith which should have been a red card. This allegedly took place early in the game as the first booking. No such booking took place.

2. He quoted 11 yellow cards being issued. There were 7.

3. He mentioned several times that Iain Vigurs was an ex-St Mirren player. Vigurs has never played for St Mirren.

4. He raved to the nation about Morgan playing a blinder in the box. mesmerising several Caly players before being brought down for the penalty. I believe the player in question was Magennis.

Your knowledge is failing Chick as well as your eyesight. Maybe time you chucked it.

Thank God he never playedfor us. Onto the bitter one. I love how he says at the start that they don't mind if they get beaten fair and square, when we beat them fairly in the first game he moaned constantly. It's all pur propoganda to hide the fact that had they put away their chances they wouldn't have had to complain about the ref.

Aw poor Robbo..... Ian McCallesque  style denial here...." We didn't lose to St Mirren" ... eh aye ye did!

Still a long way to go to match Graham Robert's complete meltdown in 2005/06.

His reaction to Charlie Adam's handy goal in the second H2H game that season was priceless and still would be if it could be found on the interweb! :clapping

Having watched the highlights twice I wonder what game wee moany Robbo was watching.

1 Where were all these wonder saves Sammy made. They were saves I would expect a keeper of Sammys ability to make. He's a real good keeper.

2. It's was a def pen. it wasn't shoulder to shoulder he clearly barged Morgan in the back.

3. We are the away team you expect them to have more shots but they were all from long range.

4. Looked like a good away display at a tricky venue. Hit them on the break and defend well. Looked like that's what we done. If Robbos team does that somewhere he will be hailing his team. Well done to Jack and the players great result. And big respect to the fans making that trip up there in awful weather. Coys
