Flareybob
Just received an electronic mail message from a very reliable source informing me that at least 2 players will be signing for St Mirren in January. Jack Ross has already spoken to the 2 lads and both should sign by Friday at the latest. The players in question are former Republic of Ireland internationalist Sean St Ledger, the other is Danilson da Cruz who has been training with St Mirren over the last week. E=Mc2
Sounds good. Only in their 30s too. I had money on these guys at Aintree last year and they are both ran a good race.

That's difficult when your starting point is the bottom of the barrel.

YardleyBoom
Another centre half? We need a defensive and an attacking mid.

Hearing it was a straight choice between Dobbie or a centre half and JR has gone for the latter. Ridiculous stuff.

Ridiculous stuff. Why would he sign a 35 year old striker when we have Reilly and Smith on top form plus just signed Mullan? 1. We'd have to pay for him with likely no return, the fee would likely be a decent size as he could be the difference between them getting play-off or not. 2. We couldn't guarantee him first team football or we would have to drop one of them possibly impacting their form/ attitude 3. We have back-up strikers on the bench that are decent options. Also we have two injury prone CBs in the team, one that can't play on artificial pitches. We have Buchanan that hasn't set the world on fire as well. Why would a new CB be a bad choice? Kemp
We need a right winger to allow Magennis to move in to the centre with McGinn. Its time to get on the blower to Ronaldinho again: https://jacobinmag.com/2018/01/ronaldinho-jair-bolsonaro-brazil-lula
