Dundee United friday

Recommended Posts

United will be 4 weeks without a league game (Sat. 27th January to Fri. 23rd February) and their 3 outstanding games (QotS and ICT away, Dumbarton home) are yet to be rescheduled.

This mean they'll have to play 14 league games over a period of 9 weeks. Play-offs after that as well if they can hold it together!

Queen of the South game now on March 13 - a few days before we go to Palmerston. Half tempted to go to the midweek game to cheer on Queens.

Dundee United play QotS 3 times in about 6/7 weeks, Inverness 2 times in 4 weeks & Dumbarton twice in 4 days.

If your the manager, player or fans of these clubs playing Utd if you lose the first match to Utd your surely not going to make the same mistakes again and lose again.

There will be alot of side issues with playing the same teams in short space of time only be good for us.

Think Livingston have a similar issue also having 14 games to play think they play Dunfermline twice in 3 weeks, they have both us and Utd to play twice as well before end of season.

Edited to add - Livingston have 3 matches in 8 weeks against our friends from Greenock to play (1 not actually got a date yet).

Alot of tough games for everyone except us as we just keep winning.

Like others have said, we are masters of our own destiny. If we keep on winning, or even lapse with one or two draws, it still puts pressure on those chasing to win every game to overtake us which is unachievable as they have to play each other so often between now and the end of the season.

Keep doing what we are doing and the rest can win, lose or draw to their heart's content as it will only count towards the minor placings.

Dunno why we are worrying what others Teams are going to do.

It's been a romp so far and will continue to be so.

Over soon and we'll do it all by ourselves.

Quit the fecking novels.

I agree however ..................

Like the " Jacks a disgrace for not putting out our 1ST XI rant in the Diddy Cup"  must have had over 5000 words on that, admittingly not very long words

Certainly put me to sleep

Not a novel.

Short, sweet and relevant.

You forgot about the "Samson must go " thread. Surely that beats "The Diddy Cup is very important " thread ?

Heaps of FOLLOW LIKE SHEEP and MASSES ARE ASSES content.

Not forgetting plenty of ONEUPMANSHIP posts for those who have no ORIGINAL THOUGHTS in their heads.

And unwarranted abuse against a decent opinion.

I read this very easily.

Novel, boring and pointless.

Nobody is going to stop our Team.
